FLOWER FROG LOVE

LOVE DAY NUMBER 11

Happy Monday,  hope you are all safe and sound those that were hit with the nasty snow storm, watched on the weather channel, oh my, so much of the white stuff fell, watch your back shoveling out..............................Love day 11 already, moving right along...........Another love I have are the old Flower Frogs, love the differant designs of them...........Bought one in an Antique store along time ago and of coarse it snowballed into yet another collection, but I do enjoy looking for them wherever I may go antiquing...........So many shapes and sizes,  I just am drawn to these little old flower holders...............I can still see Martha Stewart using a older  flower frog on one of her shows to place a bunch of flowers in a old jug, so neat.................Sometimes  I use one for a holder and stick a old postcard into one to stand it up, comes in handy, but those little needles are very sharp, ooch!!..................Wishing you all a great day, Blessings Francine.

    Oh I remember these from when I was a little girl...mom and grandma had tons of these - they both loved having fresh cut flowers in the house.

    We all love some things that make people wonder why we love something like that so I understand and seems like when I get a collection of one thing then I fall in love with another thing..but it is fun collecting things that make us happy and thats what counts :)

    You know seeing the picture of these I am pretty sure my mom had one down in her "junk cupboard" I think I am going to have to go a frog hunting!
