MORE CHRISTMAS

Happy Friday Morning,   woke to a snowy wonderland,  snowed through the night,   looks so pretty and when I let Angel out there was a little bunny greeting me by the front door,  I put birdseed out the night before and the rabbit  was eating the birdseed,   but scapered off when Angel appeared.........Well, did the last of my Christmas decorating last night, always tweak it here and there though but thats about it,  will put some things outside next when the temps warm up, tomorrow I think..........my pictures are not great,    put the garland along the railing,  but this time  put the little houses on the lights, like the look.......... Santa in wood bowl my Sister made me years ago, love him, put my old sleigh bells in to thats  on the table...........sweet little stitched pillows in the trencher, Sister made me those to.............the fireplace and mantle still tweaking but so far this is what I did.......not to great but was tired by then..........Planning on getting our tree tomorrow, always have a real one............Hope you all enjoy the weekend, Prim Blessings Francine.

Morning primfolk,  another cold day here in Winnipeg,  Jack Frost is nipping at my nose for sure this A.M..........let Angel out to do her thing and she bounced right back in like Mom, come on, do you want to go out out there and do your business, surely not.......but she did finally go...........me, I went  in the warm house, smile..........Popped into the Thrift store and it paid off to go rummaging around all the Christmas things,  they really do get alot of items donated.......found this cute Jingle Bell throw for $5.00, a sweet pudgy snowman for $2.00, a cinnamon candle, my favorite scent,  Santa face soaps and a prim snowhead with Santa,  fifty cents each,  oh ya, very adorable but.......the best buy were these old box of Christmas lights for ......DA DA DA DA........$2.00, come on!!!!!......gotta love it........I fell in love with the cover of the old box, the tree.......oh my,  Happy Happy and the lights still work but I won`t use them, so that is my finds...........Booya!!!!!!!! Morning Primfolk,   hope this morning finds you bright eyed and bushy tailed......after some of you enjoyed a long weekend...........Very cold here this morning, the temp really dipped down but I`m warm and cozy in the house enjoying my coffee...........Last night decided to do a little more Christmas decorating........so many boxes of goodies,  really takes me days to get the house looking  the way I like it,  so I take my time making Christmas magic.... ........ I put my skinny little tree in the livingroom,  I do love this Charlie Brown  tree,  has grapevine and pinecones wrapped around it, makes me happy just looking at it all lite up,   more little Christmas displays here and there,  still have more to put out but my bed was calling me so this is all I put out last night....... SISTER`S BIRTHDAY

Morning Primfolk, hope you are enjoying this Sunday morning.......the snow is gently falling , looks like a winter wonderfland outside, love it.......sipping my hot cup of coffee watching the snow fall .....ahhhhhh...so pretty...........Didn`t find to much at the rummage sale Friday, oh well, always fun to look around............Was my middle Sister`s Birthday yesterday so we went for cake at her place last evening........yum yum, the famous Jennies Cake, so so good, only  bakery here in Winnipeg,  this cake is really tasty......so creamy and that shortbread crust on the bottom,  heavenly........had a wonderful time, shared many laughs, love my family so much.......My older Sister didn`t make it for her Hubby finally came home from the hospital, he is feeling better but very weak, but home is where the heart is so he will  slowly feel stronger  at home...... That`s all folks, enjoy this peaceful Sunday, keep warm and cozy,  Prim Blessing Francine.

Happy Friday Primfolk..........very cold and blowy day here........throw another log on the fire kinda day.........Winter has arrived.........I came home from work this afternoon to find a package in the mail, yahoo!!!!.......It came from sweet Amy at Bumble Bee Lane`s ornie swap I was in.........found some very cute prim ornies,  so I grapped the camera and took pictures of my new  treasures..........thanks Amy for including me in your fun ornie swap........and thanks gals for the great ornies, love them.............. I am off to another Church rummage sale this evening,  bringing my Sis who`s husband is still in the hospital,he`s slowly feeling better, thanks once again for your thoughts and prayers, much appriceated, all you gals are so caring and kind..........Wishing you all a cozy weekend.......Warm Blessings Francine.

Good Morning..........cool and windy here this morning, I am snug inside enjoying a hot cup of coffee..............Wanting to wish my American friends a very Happy Thanksgiving,  may you all enjoy lots of love and laughter with loved ones today.............My heart goes out to those ravanged by Storm Sandy, may you find a little comfort today,  thoughts and prayers are still with you............ I am going out to do  some Christmas shopping  with my Sister and Mom today, black Thursday, LOL!!!!!  try to find some good deals.........We are not into spending tons of money for the holidays, thats not what it`s all about anyway,   I love the spirit of Christmas,  spending time with loved ones, enjoying a meal together, the magic of old St. Nick,  to me that is what Chrtistmas is all about........... OLD PINECONE TREASURES



Happy Tuesday.............nice and mild here the last couple of days, snow is melting, oh no!!!! Would like the snow to stay, looks so pretty and Christmasy.........Still doing a little decorating............but one of my old antique treasures are these beautiful glass pinecone tree ornaments............love them so, keep them out all year long in this jar, can`t bare to put them away..........I know, silly ole me...........I`ve collected the pinecones for many years now, but I do not find them anymore and if I do see some at antique stores they want a good price,  there are the new fake imposters but I don`t buy those, oh no............I used to find them at Rummage sales, Thrift stores for a few cents, some were gifts from family..........now the price is many dollars if you find any.............I don`t hang them on the tree anymore for two years ago one fell and broke, boo hoo!!!!!......so I just keep them safe tucked in the old canning jar where I enjoy my old beautiful old pinecones............Wishing you all a wonderful day............Prim Blessings Francine.

RISE AND SHINE

Good Morning.........hope you all are enjoynig the day so far...........I`m still in my P.J`s sipping coffee, enjoying the calmness of morning, loves me A.M.............Yesterday I went to a craft sale with my 2 Sisters, we wanted to take our older Sis for a little outing for she has been in and out of the hospital so much with her husband still in there, he has some fluid building up so the have to keep draining it, and keep an eye on him,  he took such a nasty fall...........We had a really good time though, had lunch, took in the craft show, then poppped into Wal-Mart for some shopping......take her mind off all the crazyness her family has been through........her nerves are shot, but we pray together that they will get through all the sadness, The Power Of Prayer.....................I have done a little more Christmas decorating, so many boxes......... I get a overwhelmed and I want to enjoy putting out all my treasures so I will do a bit each day...........Wishing you all great  day......Prim Blessings Francine.

A LITTLE CHRISTMAS

Happy Friday Primfolk........another weekend is here,  guess all the American folk are busy for their upcoming Thanksgiving next week, MMMMMMM..... turkey and all the fixins, anybody want another guest at their table, LOL!!!! I`ll gladly join in, won`t come empty handed............ Cold and windy here in Winterpeg,  all the snow has certainly put me in the Holiday spirit..........find myself humming Christmas carols, puttering around with some Christmas decor, just starting, takes me days to put out snowmen, santas, little trees,  finding that prim perfect spot...........The other day down the backlane a neighbor had trimmed their ceder tree and left a box of ceder clippings out by the garbage......oh!!!, thank you,   just  what I need,  so went and scooped the box up and now have great smelling ceder greens to decorate with, find they last longer then spruce and you don`t get needles everywhere and the ceder smells good to.......... so I have done a little decorating, shall do some more this weekend............Enjoy a cozy weekend, Warm Blessings Francine.

CHRISTMAS SHOPPING

Morning Primfolk..........hope this day finds you all fine and dandy...........We sure were hit  with alot of snow this past weekend, the city of Winnipeg is hard at work cleaning the streets of snow.............I braved the snowplows yesterday and did some shopping .............went to a store called Winners..........had so much Christmas decor out, WOW!!!!!!! was a little overwhelmed..........but with all the snow now, put me in the mood to decorate for the Holiday Season............I did happen to find some goodies I had to have...........loved this block lamp with the picture of a old fashioned Sants on it, also a hinged picture of Santa in his sleigh and a sweet little vintage looking glitter house............so guess I will be starting to decorate the house for Chirtmas, sorry,  pictures blurry, oh well.................Thanks again for all the thoughts and prayers for my B-I-L,  you are all so sweet and thoughtful....Enjoy the day.............. Warm Blessings Francine.

 Good Morning.......today is Rememberance Day here in Canada, so happy to live in a free Country, thanks to the Veterns, and remember the fallen who fought for our freedom, God Bless, I wear my poppy pin proudly....................Woke up to a winter wonderland outside.........lots of snow had fallen over night...........Now, I`m getting into the holiday spirit,  It`s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas.............Thank you for your thoughts and prayers for my Brother-In-Law, he`s still in the hospital, the doctors want to keep checking on him for he has some swelling around the brain, I pray for him and my family.................Also thanks to you for wishing my Mom a Happy Birthday, we had a great supper and she loved her presants so............. Wishing you all a good Sunday.............Prim Blessings Francine.

Good Morniong Primfolk..........hope all is well with you this Friday.........Today is my wonderful Dear Mother`s Birthday..........she turns 87 years young today...........Happy Happy Birthday Mother............You are my Angel...........Love you so so much!!!!!!!!.........We, the family are taking her out for supper wherever she wants to go..........then back to her place for cake and presant opening.......... But, we are in a winter storm warning today and for the weekend, so hope all goes as planned...........On a sad note, my Brother-In -Law, a painter, fell of a ladder, hit his head on a glass coffee table.......he`s in the hospital with head injuries, please say a prayer for him...........You are all such sweet wonderful friends, I adore you all..........Warm Blessings Francine. 

ENAMEL LOVE

Good Morning Primfolk..........still dull and dreary here.........no sunshine yet........will someone please turn the lights on!!!!!!....starting to feel very blue..........so thought I would post about my love of enamel...........been collecting for many years..........dear to my heart are the old coffee pots, pitchers,  berry buckets and milk pails............Cam built me a long shelf in the kitchen to display my collection, could not fit the long shelf in one picture so had to take it in two...........enjoy looking at the great old pieces that were a staple in the kitchens of long ago, and are still loved by many..........Big day in the U.S.....election day......go vote.......it`s your right!!!!..........Enjoy the day.......Warm Blessings Francine.

Bye Bye Halloween

Good Morning Primfolk..........another dull dreary day here in Winnipeg, where oh where is that sunshine??????,  it`s been about a week now with no sun shining, feeling alittle blue...........Did you all remember to change your clocks back  one hour, extra hour of sleep, yey!!!!!........Yesterday spent the day putting away the Fall/ Halloween goodies I decorated with for another year...........all I left out were the white gourds and pumpkins I had bought, don`t have the heart to throw them out for I love the ghost pumpkins so much..........popped them in my wood bowl on the kitchen table with the dryed sunflower heads and will enjoy them there the month of November.............This afternoon invited to another Nephews little girls 1st Birthday party so will go and celebrate with family..........MMMMMM cake...........Enjoy the day.......Prim Blessings Francine.

LITTLE TIGER DEAN, ARRRRR

 Morning.........had a very busy Halloween evening handing out candy.........wow!!!!! About 125 little and big ghosts and goblins came trick and treating to the house.........weather was cool and rainy but didn`t stop them from coming out in droves........out of candy around 7:45, shut out the lights and relaxed with a  hot cup of coffee........ahhhhhh.........My girlfriend poppped in with her Grandson Dean dressed as a little tiger, his first Halloween.......so cute.......Enjoy the day......Prim Blessings Francine.
