HAPPY MONDAY

Morning Primfolk,  did you all have a good weekend???.........The weather was so nice and mild here for a change, hope Spring is not to far off..................I spent Sunday relaxing, reading and putting out a few more Spring goodies, hoping they will bring Spring on faster, ha!!!!!!.......................Tomorrow Cam, myself, my middle Sister and her boyfriend leave on a little 3 day, 4 night trip to Wendover, Nevada............the only thing is I don`t like flying at all, really not looking forward to that part but I am excited to see no snow on the ground in Nevada.................This trip was a really good deal so we thought why not, it is a small town, and yes it is a gambling town, so I will try my luck, take in some sites, it will be nice to just walk outside without a heavy jacket, boots and all that winter garb............I am taking my I-Pad so hopefully I can keep in touch with you all......Enjoy the day, Blessings Francine.

A BREATH OF SPRING

Good Saturday Morning Primfolk,  I am enjoying a cup of coffee and the stillness of Dawn, my favorite time of the day...............Well, the weather is much milder today, so so nice from the freezing cold weather of last week, now only if the snow could start melting..........................Yesterday  I was trying to  think Spring, spent hours on that Pinterest, oh my, such wonderful prim boards to look at, my head was swimming with so many prim Easter idea`s........................So, feeling inspired, I took out my rabbit mold, found some candles to melt down and poured myself a bunny.............later that evening, I took it out of the mold,  turned out not to bad,  blacked the bunny up with black paint, sprinkled it with the mixture of cinammon and clove, taa daa!!!! my blacked wax bunny.........then took my little white enamel pitcher, popped in some old Pussy Willows from last year, nice, had this sweet birds nest, some fake greenery and placed them on the long wood plate, my first Spring time viginette................I feel a little better now, thinking Spring..............Wishing you all a wonderful weekend, Happy Blessings Francine.

OLD PHOTO FRIDAY

Moring Primfolk, wow!!!! the week flew by, the weekend is here already.........wish Spring was, still so cold and to much snow around, can`t wait for some milder weather, THINK SPRING, THINK SPRING!!!!!!..............Some of the other gals are posting old pictures on Fridays so I thought this Friday I would also, I do enjoy seeing black and white photo`s of family, so interesting........................This is a picture of my Mom and one of her Brother`s with their pet deer on the farm where she was born and raised............My Mom,  her 3 sister`s and 4 Brother`s were a hard working family, always doing some chore on the big farm..........One Brother had found a little fawn all by it`s self, just born and the mother dead, not sure why, so he  carried the little fawn  back to the farm and they raised the fawn till she grew older...............they named her Daisy,  bottled feed her till she was old enough to eat  and tied a red ribbon around her neck to let others know she was a pet I guess................ Then when she was about a year old, Daisy wondered away from the farm and never came back...........my Mom was so sad but let`s hope Daisy had a family of her own.......................Wishing you all a wonderful weekend, Blessings Francine.

FLEA MARKET FINDS

Morning Primfolk, hope this Wednesday fines you all well.........It is such a cold day here, can`t believe we are in a deep freeze.........will be a cozy stay at home day.........I`m keeping the fuzzy jammies on I think and  will curl up in my favorite chair and read the New Country Sampler..........................A few Saturdays back I had gone to a big Flea Market,  it was held to make money for a Animal Rescue, hey, how great!! so away we went.................At the time I was posting on the Whole Lotta Love chain so I waited for another day to post on my goodies I bought..............We walked in and there were about 80 venders there, wow!!!!! where do I begin........Everything from soup to nuts, but I did find a sweet little quilt for $40.00,  a small broom for $2.00, I love those brooms so and a braided rug for $10.00, I really like the looks of the homemade braided rugs...............I could of bought more but there is a big Antique sale coming up at the beginning of April, so I will save my momey for then, yohoo!!!!!.......................Wishing you all a wondeful day, Blessings Francine.

BISCOTTI LOVE

Morning Primfolk,  hope you all had a great weekend, it`s a long weekend here, today is a Holiday but I have to go to work......... it is really cold and windy this morning and only getting worse as the day goes on, high windchills, yuk!!!!!!! need some  Spring like weather real soon............................Had a wonderful day yesterday with my Mom and Sisters, always share so many laughs, came home no richer but my middle Sister did, happy for her............I won bits here and there but we popped into a grocery store on the way home so  spent money in there, always enjoy shopping in the States, so many neat goodies not found in Winnipeg, also bought the new Country Sampler, yey!!!!! would not be sold here till the end of the month.........................I do enjoy Biscotti very much, so a friend at work went to Costco and knowing I love that cookie bought me this tub of  the yummest Biscotti ever, oh my, this kind is Salted Caramel,with chocolate, MMMMM, sweet and salty, so so good, love having a few pieces with a cup of coffee, a little piece of heaven..............Wishing you all a wonderful day, and welcome to  new followers, always enjoy meeting new blogger folk,  Blessings Francine.

 Morrning Primfolk, hope this weekend is going great for you all so far...............Cold here once again this morning, expecting more snow tomorrow, sheesh, I am so ready for Spring, had enough of Winter already...............Had a nice quite Valentines Day, stayed home, ate chocolate, my kind of day, love just being at home all cozy  and warm.....................Yesterday popped into HomeSence to see if there was any Easter goodies and found this sweet little box with a old postcard picture on it, loved it, my first piece of Easter decor I have out, just does not seem like Easter is next month, we have soooo much snow here yet................  Sunday my Mom, Sister`s and myself are off on a day trip to a casino in Warroad Minnisota, two hours away from us here, we have such a great time together, love being with my family and have to admit, shhhhhh, playing penny slots....................Wishing you all a warm wonderful weekend, Blessings Francine.

Top Of The Morning To You, Wishing you all a Happy Valentine`s Day, enjoy the day and  eat lots of chocolate.............Want to thank Cindi for putting on the Whole Lotta Love chain, was so much love going around all the gals blogs who particapated, enjoyed reading the gals loves...................My last love of the Whole Lotta Love Chain are those wonderful black birds, Crows.......have always liked the look of them.....When I was little girl there was a older boy that lived down the street from us who had a pet Crow,  he had raised it from a young bird, it`s name was Campbell Crow......it would  sit perched on his shoulder while he walked around, he also taught it to speak, I was so fasinated by this big black bird.............. I enjoy  buying prim crows when I come across any, my Sister has made me crows from fabric, I love them so............There are even some  ladies with the name Crow in their blog name that I have come quite fond of too,  CAW CAW......... Happy Wednesday,  hope you are all enjoying the morning so far............Here we are at day 13 of Cindi`s chain of love, enjoying all the gals posts on their loves, so much fun.....................I  love  the old oil lamps of so long ago...........love the soft glow from one burning, I can remermber a scene from Little House On The Prairie when Ma was sitting at the table one night sewing by the soft glow of the old lamp, was magical,  I thought it looked so beautiful, I had to have one of  my own...........well, now I have a few........  I have one at the lake I burn  when we sit on the porch at night by the fire, looks so  comfy cozy, warms my heart.

LIGHTNING ROD LOVE

LOVE DAY NUMBER 12



Morning Primfolk,  hope everyone is well,  the weather here is so nice and mild, wish Spring was on the way but I know it`s no way sprung in these parts.......................... Day 12 of Cindi`s love chain and this day I am telling my love for old lightning rods................I fell hard for these neat old pieces of yesteryear,   you can still see some on the old barns, many are just a rod, no decorated ball sitting on the lightning rod, many a young boy used it for target practice I`m sure.....................The lighting rods had a ground wire attached to lead the lightning to the ground if hit so the barn stayed safe.............There are so many beautiful balls that once graced the old rods, blue, red, white glass,  differant shapes, I really found them so fascinating, so I added a few to my home.................Wishing you all a great day, Blessings Francine.

FLOWER FROG LOVE

LOVE DAY NUMBER 11

Happy Monday,  hope you are all safe and sound those that were hit with the nasty snow storm, watched on the weather channel, oh my, so much of the white stuff fell, watch your back shoveling out..............................Love day 11 already, moving right along...........Another love I have are the old Flower Frogs, love the differant designs of them...........Bought one in an Antique store along time ago and of coarse it snowballed into yet another collection, but I do enjoy looking for them wherever I may go antiquing...........So many shapes and sizes,  I just am drawn to these little old flower holders...............I can still see Martha Stewart using a older  flower frog on one of her shows to place a bunch of flowers in a old jug, so neat.................Sometimes  I use one for a holder and stick a old postcard into one to stand it up, comes in handy, but those little needles are very sharp, ooch!!..................Wishing you all a great day, Blessings Francine.

OLD TIN LOVE



LOVE DAY NUMBER 9

Morning, wow!!!! some places are getting hit with that snow storm East of us and into the States, hope you stay safe and warm......Here we are enjoying some milder weather, go figure............                                               Day 9 of Dear Cindi`s Whole Lotta Love.......  Another love of mine are the old advertising tins.......they were the first old treasures I started to collect, was so much fun looking for these old beauties of yesteryear..............I remember as a child  the tin of Squirrel Peanut Butter, yum yum and the tin of Purity  Strawberry Jam, oh those were the days, I was lucky enough to come across both and buy them.........also Corn Syrup in a tin and Mom`s baking tin of Blue Ribbon Baking Powder, I knew when that little tin was out on the counter, something good was going to happen...........Such wonderful graphics on these tins...........I enjoy looking at them all the time, Cam built me a long shelf above the doors leading into the porch from the kitchen so I am able to enjoy them all the time..................Wishing you all a wonderful weekend, and keep cozy those of you in the path of the storm, Blessings Francine.

ANGEL LOVE



LOVE DAY NUMBER 8



Morning Primfolk, Happy Friday to you all, hoping you enjoy this weekend................My love today is my sweet little girl Angel, love this furbaby with all my heart............We were looking for another little dog when we still had Daisy girl,  she was getting on up there in age so Cam and I wanted to add another  small dog to the home.............Angel came to us as a throwaway from a neighbors Son who did not want her any more, he was bringing her to the Human Society,  but Cam brought her home while I was at work...........I came home from work and here was the saddest sight I ever seen, sitting there was this dirty, skinny,  matted from head to tail little dog, a 5 year old  purebreed Shih-Tzu, she had my heart right then and there.. ..........Her nails were so long they curled around almost into her pads, she was actually walking on the curled nails, heartbreaking, not spayed, no needles, tags, nothing but a dirty bug eyed little dog.........Daisy really wanted nothing to do with her, but they kinda stayed out of each others way........We took Angel to the groomers, cut, bathed and nails trimmed, she was beautiful, black and white with freckles of black, so pretty............ She had a little temper, but who knew what this little dog had gone through, she ended up biting Cam so many times, bad bites, I felt so bad for Cam,   but I loved this little dog so.  She was my shadow, my lap warmer, always so happy to see me no matter if I was just coming downstairs after a shower, or hours at work, Angel greets me with love like no other................We have had her 3 years now, Angel has come along way, she loves Cam, mind you still has her grumpy days but who dosen`t, she has my heart wrapped around hers......True Love............Blessings Francine.

Morning Primfolk,  here we are half way of Cindi`s Whole Lotta Love chain, having fun reading other gals posts on what they love so much....................Another love of mine is the old Friendly Village dishes made by Johnson Brothers..............each dish has a differant  scene and I  just adore all the pieces of these wonderful old dishes.............I have been lucky enough to find  pieces  at Value Village for cheap, my Sister`s  have given me plates for presants, YEY!!!!   but have not seen any in a long time anywhere.........So I enjoy the pieces I have, and am always on the hunt to add more to my collection..........Blessings Francine.
