GOOD MORNING
Greetings Prim Folk, hope this Wednesday finds you all well and enjoying a sunshine filled day........Looks like a nice warm sunny day here in Winnipeg, the birds singing, beautiful Spring day to go out and enjoy some planting.........I will go out and plant some of the bulbs I received for my Birthday, such as Anemone, Giant Dinnerplate Cactus Dahlia, called Mick`s Peppermint, looks really pretty, pink striped, I never grew the Dinnerplate variety before so looking forward to it and Freesia`s, love the smell of that flower but don`t have luck growing them, but will try once again.............I did plant some of my other flowers in pots the other day, hope the cooler weather is done for now, it`s now the middle of May and this coming weekend is our long weekend here in Canada, so it has to be ok to plant, fingers crossed, :)...........Wishing you all a wonderful Spring day, Blessings Francine.
It was cold enough last night that I was scared it might snow. Better today but raining. I am hoping for a warm sunny long weekend. This is always considered kick-off to summer weekend!
Good afternoon Francine, what a lovely variety of flowers, Dinner plate Dahlia's make such a spectacular statement in the flower garden. Our temperatures dipped into the thirties last evening, we needed a wood fire to take the chill off. I made sure I brought my newly purchased plants in... Have a good afternoon, Julie.
Love your plants. I also am wanting to get my plants out. We did have a taste of Summer on Tuesday as it hit triple digits, but has cooled back the last couple days so maybe it will be safe to plant this weekend. Hugs
Really enjoy your blog.. so many absolutely beautifully prim pics and nature! What a wonderful place to come visit with a cup of coffee and look @ all your wonderful pictures.
