Good Morning Prim Folk, a gentle rain is falling this morning but I am nice and dry enjoying my hot cup of coffee inside.....Yesterday I was out in the gardens and noticed the very fragrant Lily Of The Valley was in bloom, oh my the scent is so heavenly. Such sweet little white bells, they also bring back wonderful childhood memories. When I was little we moved to a great old yellow farmhouse on many acres. What a wonderful place to play and grow up, wide open spaces. Along the North side of the house was a row of these beautiful smelling white bells, the smell was intoxicating to me. We had a tree swing also on that side of the house and I can still remember swinging and seeing the pretty flowers that smelt so so nice. Mama would pick a small bouquet and bring them in the house to place on the kitchen table. Now as I look at my little vase of Lily Of The Valley, my heart is happy.... Wishing you all a wonderful day, Warm Blessings Francine.

ReplyDeleteGood Morning...and Evening Sweet Francine... Lily of the Valley are near and dear to my heart.... I loved them so much I insisted on having them in my wedding.... Unfortunately, I got married in June and it was a rare, early, summer here in Nod....and all the lilies of the valley were come and gone. I still, to this day, do not know where or how our florist came up with them, but she did. Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin
