BLOOMING

God Morning Prim Folk,   Happy Friday to you all!!! Long weekend here in Canada, Monday  is our holiday, Victoria Day.  The weather does not sound to promising, rainy and cool but hoping the sun will shine sometimes over the long weekend.  Cam has a family function out of town to attend on Saturday, so Angel and I  will  relax here at home.....   Puttered around outside the other day, felt good to be out cleaning in the flower beds, warm  sun shining, birds singing, very comforting to me.   Not to much blooming right now  but the Checkered Lily's are in bloom, one of my favorites. They are so pretty and really different looking, people ask me all the time what they are. Many plants are coming up, hoping I didn't loose to many this past  winter, but I'm sure when I visit the garden centers I will be buying many plants, I can't help myself, want one of each....     Good Friday Morning Francine.... And happy Victoria Day (weekend) to you! Love the checkered lilies... I know them as Fritillarias though?? Doesn't matter what you call them, they're such happy lil' blooms and I love them! Cold and wet here too....we had a nasty frost the other night, and looks like we may be in store for more.     Beautiful blooms Francine! Glad they survived the winter. We've had some late frosts and my pansies and primroses have been ruined.
