YOU SAY TOMATO
Happy Friday Prim Folk, hope all is well with you.........Well, going back to work was not so bad, but did enjoy being a bum for my holidays, a person can get very lazy, well, I know I can so just as well I get back at it...............Cam's tomatoes are turning ripe for the picking, he just picked these big red ones off the plant, all you will need is a slice for a sandwich, really huge this year and still many on the vine growing nice and plump. He received a seedling plant from a lady that goes to the Eagles bingo where Cam is a caller for bingo, she said last year she had very huge tomato's and by the looks of these beauty's she meant it, never grew such big ones before..........Wishing you all a wonderful weekend, Blessings Francine.

Yumm. I arrived home the other day and a bag was hanging on my back door knob - full of tomatoes. We had toasted tomato sandwiches for supper that night.
ReplyDeletenot a fan of raw tomatoes, but do like 'em in sauce!
ReplyDeleteI love tomato sandwiches but our plants were poor this year. Most were marked wrong and we got the low acid pinks which I don't care for, and the majority of plants are diseased. I can't even have my fried green tomatoes!
ReplyDeleteNothing like fresh garden tomatoes . We like them in sandwiches best . Thanks for sharing ! Have a good weekend !
ReplyDeleteJohn loves tomatoes on his morning bagel. These are beauties. Wishing you a nice weekend.
ReplyDeleteWe love tomatoes. Great shots of some wonderful looking tomatoes.
ReplyDeleteNothing better than a warm 'mater off the vine. YUM!

Those really are nice tomatoes. I wonder what variety they are, (probably heirloom ones). I have a sandwich from my Jet Stars almost every lunch, just a tad of mayo, salt and white bread.
ReplyDeletePretty and tasty looking too:)
ReplyDeleteBLT's Yum Yum!

Oh, your tomatoes a beauty all right.
ReplyDeleteNothing like the real thing from your own garden.
We had a hail storm so all the tomatoes have a bad spot. I just cut it out and the tomatoes are still tasty.
ReplyDeleteOh my! Those look delicious!! Nothing like a homegrown tomato. How I love me a tamater sandwich!! ;> )
ReplyDeleteEnjoy!!
Those ARE some good lookin' maters!
ReplyDeleteGreat looking Tomato's!!! Work, the necessary evil... OLM
ReplyDeleteMmmm, nice sun warmed tomatoes fresh off the vine! When I went to my weaving class a couple of weeks ago the instructor served us grilled cheese with tomatoes and basil, oh my, sooooo tasty!

Hi Francine. In this house we love tomatoes. Green fried are a southern treat, although not too healthy so we limit eating those. We are near an Old Order Amish settlement in the nearby Tennessee so can get many fresh tomatoes and other veggies.
