ReplyDeleteNothing like fresh caught - pan fried - fish. We don't normally eat fish, but if caught, then immediately fried up, we like it. Glad you had a great time!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the photo of you and Angel!! Now THAT'S what I call an Adirondack chair!
ReplyDeleteI love the smell of pine trees too. Ahhhh...
What a peaceful and relaxing trip you had.
:> )
Good for you and hubby. It is nice to get away. And what a bunch of good eating you caught!!Going Monday to our daughter and son-in-law's cottage on Keuka Lake ( here in the Finger Lakes of NY). My hubby will be fishing then. The neighbors have been getting many lake trout and some big bass on Keuka all summer. I'm allergic to fish ...any kind with out a shell.....so no fish for me to eat!

I like the picture with you and Angel in the big chair! Sounds like you had fun.
ReplyDeleteHi Francine...I'm playing catch up. Love your grungy pumpkins..and the pics of your fishing trip. The pic of you making the heart is soooo cute! I love seeing who I'm "talking" to!

Mmm, fresh fish you catch yourself is the best! I haven't fished for so long. It sounds fun on a boat
ReplyDeleteSounds wonderful!! And yummm, fresh fish :-) What a wonderful way to spend the day!! I love that big ole chair you are sitting on, so neat!!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you guys had a grand ole time up in our northern Ontario ! Glad to hear it ! I haven't been pike or Walleye fishing for years . Down here in Southwestern Ontario we have pike, pickerel, walleye and of course trout from the river and from lake Erie . Thanks for sharing wonderful photos ! Have a good day !
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteThe scenery looks similar to North 17 outside of Kenora.
Francine...your pictures are simply beautiful and it sounds like you had a marvelous holiday! I love the picture of you...always wondered what you looked like! Very pretty! :)
ReplyDeleteWe catch Northern and walleye as well as small and large mouth bass on our lake...the occasional perch. We mostly throw them back in but when we have a large group fishing, we sometimes keep them for a meal. How do prepare and cook your walleye? I'd love to know!
XO,
Jane
Hello Francine!!! I've so enjoyed catching up on your blog this evening! It has been so long since I've been fishing and enjoyed Walleye and you've made me remember some of the times, thank-you for that! :-)
ReplyDeleteI do hope you enjoy the last 3 days of your holiday and continue to enjoy the fabulous weather--We are having it too, and I'm also remembering why I love September! Take care!!!
Wonderful pictures of a great time.
ReplyDeleteWhen we lived in North Dakota, while I was growing up, I fished for Pike with my dad. Great memories!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a wonderful trip. Wow, what big fish, they will make a feast. Have a great day! Lecia
