YARD SALE FINDS

Happy Saturday Prim Folk,  hope the day is going well for you.............. I am having a pretty good day........After work this afternoon we popped into a yard sale on the way home,  and low and behold I did find some goodies, cheap.
This small yellow ware bowl, love it,  grabbed it up for  fifty cents, the girl said it was her Grandma's, I asked her how she could sell it and she said I have no use for it, well, I sure do  as I hugged it to me.
This nice old clear Ball jar with a zinc lid, thank you very much, a quarter if you please.  So far so good.
Also this little brass water tap for two bucks, I will find a use for it I'm sure. Last but not least this blueberry candle for  fifteen cents, come on, this was a good cheap yard sale with some real goodies I think, so glad we stopped.......And how was your day?   Summer Blessings Francine.

  6. Good score Francine! I hit some yesterday and the "last one!" I hit was the best! There was a Hunter brand ceiling fan with punched tin light covers in perfect shape, I asked how much it was figuring it was probably out if my league or it would not still be there and when the gal said 5 bucks I couldn't get my money out fast enough!!! I don't think I have ever been so pleased with myself lol!
Hope all is well and you are getting plenty of make time!

  14. My Saturday was good! A friend alerted us to a "Moose" siting east of town, so we ran out there - sure enough, there was a big ol' cow moose out there feeding near some reeds. We don't see a Moose around here that often, so it was fun seeing her, and getting a few photos (from about a quarter mile away) lol.

  17. Ooooh!! You got some real pretties there! Wow. I could never sell my grammy's bowl I have. Truth be told, it isn't that pretty either. But it was my gram's and that's more important (to me) than how it looks. ♥
    But to each his own.
