CONEFLOWERS

Afternoon Prim Folk,  hope you are enjoying this Monday,  here in Canada it is a long weekend, a holiday Monday...oh ya!!!!  just because it is summer and we deserve a long weekend a month, :)           So I was out and about in the gardens,  seeing whats what....the Coneflowers are starting to bloom, well some are, others have been blooming........The White Swan Coneflower's are special to me, the plant was once in my Mother's garden when she still lived in her house, so when she moved in to her apartment, us gals split up her plants, Mom had the most beautiful flower gardens........I took her White Coneflowers for they are one of my favorite plants....the others I bought myself......the shorter orange one is my latest buy, they are coming along great..........Summer Blessings Francine.

  6. I spent the day resetting some of mine but they are all the common pink. I do have some white ones too, they don't seem to reseed like the pink. What is that last little one, fuzzy pink?

  13. I have never seen white coneflowers, and how wonderful for you to have something of your mother's in your garden. My mom was not a gardener and often joked she could kill any plant given to her. You are so lucky!

  18. Hi Francine, I'm slowly catching up with my blog reading, hope you have been well and enjoying summer. I too love coneflowers, this flower is a steady mainstay in one's garden. I too have different shades of white and pink. My recent additions have been shades of oranges, adds a nice pop of color to one's garden. Sending hugs from Maine, Julie.
