ReplyDeleteSo glad you had a great trip. Hello to sweet Angel!
ReplyDeleteI'm ready for fall too. I love the goodies you purchased and see some pretty Autumn decor pieces among them.
Francine! So glad you had a great trip! Down fall to Red Wing is that they are spendy...lots of eye candy though! OLM
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a great time and found some treasures! I'm with you, bring on fall!
ReplyDeleteI still can't believe you were so close to me! Where was the Prim shop? I need to get to one! If it is between Red Wing and Duluth I can make it! Let me know the town if you remember ok? Red Wing is beautiful, Love the old Pottery Place, haven't been for awhile cause I think they are over priced. Enjoy your lake time!
ReplyDeleteBe blessed,
Cindi
Welcome home ... I think I would have had to buy one of those really large crocks, have a couple of smaller ones. Hope you remembered to wave to Mama Pea.
ReplyDeleteHey Francine, $50.00 bucks not bad my friend...Just look at those wonderful crocks lined up on that porch! I just knew you would return home with some great finds! Enjoy your time at the lake, Fall is closing in, thank goodness...greetings from Maine, Julie.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE those crocks!
ReplyDeleteI'm laughing because I love to look around grocery stores when I travel. I like seeing the different things they have. I thought it was odd but now maybe it's more normal than I thought ;)
ReplyDeleteWow, love those crocks and the lake and the goodies and your fur baby...and what a cute pic of you! Welcome home! ~*~Lisa
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a great time, but there is no place like home!
ReplyDeleteWow drooling over those crocks, but soe of the look huge. Lake Superior is awesome and cold..at least in Michigan. So glad you had a great trip, but sad that the casino was a tight wad. Hot and humid here too...spent the day plaing in the river, Janice
ReplyDeleteAwesome trip and great treasures as well. You went to Red Wing!!! that is my old stomping grounds and Duluth, beautiful city! I miss these favorite spots in the North Country, been living in southern Missouri for 20 years now but born and raised in Northern Wisconsin (Eau Claire). Thanks for sharing your eventful trip, love the crocks, my largest is a 6 gallon Red Wing with wood handles on the side.
ReplyDeleteLove your blog, Connie
You're getting closer....(to Nod, that is!!) Welcome home though!!! Sounds like/looks like a fun trip....Love the old crocks.... From what I've heard, Red Wing and Duluth are both pretty spendy....touristy.... But I don't get out much.... Grocery stores, eh??? Actually, I have fun in them too - although I avoid them here and make Mr. Crow go... ;-) Have a great new week ahead!! Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin
ReplyDeleteOh what a wonderful trip! LOVE the little cottage you stayed in one night! The views and shopping looked great! I stay away from Casinos....that would be a weakness of mine!....Blessings and thank the Lord for your safe trip! Roxie
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great time away, but it is always good to get home. Such wonderful treasures you got to bring home. Blessings~Sara
ReplyDeletesounds like a busy time away and some great goodies.
ReplyDeleteIt is always great to be home again we are heating up a bit but I am not looking forward to fall. Shorter days and after fall comes the worst part of the year.
Cathy
Oh, just look at all those goodies! And I like your photo at the top!!
ReplyDeleteMy spouse love the pottery place and my mom took me along there back in the fifties when they actually made pottery there. Duluth is a goo place to escape to when it gets really hot. The "Air Conditioned City".
ReplyDeleteOh, I am so glad that you had a wonderful trip but yes, it is always good to get back to a home base (wether it is your residence or the lake place...as long as it has your stuff!).
ReplyDeleteKendra
Hi, Fran,
ReplyDeleteGlad you are home safely from your wonderful vacation. Love your new yellow ware bowls. I wouldn't think that such a sweet little doggie could look so disgusted! I'm with you, I hate this hot weather and can't wait for fall...
Melinda
It looks like you had a very nice trip. I really like all of the goodies that you brought home. I just loved seeing that picture of all of those crocks. I just love those big ones.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you had a nice trip.
A trip into Minnesota is always good! I am jealous of that long frog...I have not seen one like that before. I love them as display pieces..I only have one that is round..I need to find some more:)
ReplyDeleteOh fun! Really enjoyed these pictures :)
