Holidays Part 2

Afternoon Prim Folk, hope all well with you, still a few glitches blogging but I’m still trying.......                                                        We had such a fun Holiday traveling to Ohio, not only antiquing but we did see a few good sites along the way.  Visited the Christmas Story house in Cleveland, you know the movie, You’ll shoot you eye, lol. What a fun time we had, we watch that movie every year so I was excited to tour it....... Visited an old Lighthouse built in 1829, very beautiful, my brother loves lighthouses so a treat for him.......Also visited the American Pickers store in St,Claire Iowa, I love watching that show, this was a real treat for me. Missed Mike and Frankie but being there was wonderful.... ... all and all was such a memorial holiday, can’t wait for next year.....Blessings Francine❤️

Holiday part 1

Evening Prim Folk, sure enjoy blogging and hearing from some of you....                                                                                                 This year I took my holidays in September into October, 4 weeks of not working, yipee! Planned on a trip to Ohio with my Brother and Sis-In-Law to a few primitive shows. Back To Our Roots and Marabar Farms show. I was so excited to go, nothing primitive here in Winnipeg, so was really looking forward to antiquing and spending time with family. Met somemore FB friends at the shows, I love meeting them, bought lots of goodies too. Was a fantastic trip, weather was good except for a rainy day here and there.  Saw lots of interesting sites but that will be in the next post, wishing you a peaceful night,Francine.

Bambi

Good Morning Prim Folk, so far so good, think I’m back to blogging, yipee!  Not a lot new here over the years, maybe a good thing,lol.  Angel is 14 now and doing well except for becoming deaf but otherwise all good with her, we did adopt another little Shiz Tzu cross last Fall from Norway House animal rescue, they do great work bringing animals here to Winnipeg from many Northern communities. Bambi is a year old and full of spunk, makes us laugh everyday, she settled in very nicely, even grumpy ole Angel excepted her into our home. Bambi was her name so we kept it as it’s a cute name and she knows it well. She loves the lake, those Chipmunks at camp don’ t stand a chance as  she must have some Terrier in her as well, always on the hunt, not like Angel cuddled up in my lap. ...Well that’s about it for now, will post other things in time, have a great day, Hugs Francine

WELCOME SPRING

Morning Prim Folk,  Happy 1st Day of Spring!!!!  I've been waiting to say welcome Spring for some time now and good bye to winter. The weather of late has been o k,  finally plus 5 Sunday, snow melting all is good. I can't wait to get my hands into the dirt and do a little gardening but will be a while yet. So will spend time dreaming and looking at old gardening magazine's for the time being. Spring Blessings Francine.

WOES ME

Morning Prim Folk,   hope all is well in your neck of the woods....                    The weather here of late has been terrible. Cold and nasty wind blowing day and night, not to happy about it. Wanted the Spring like weather to stay, was melting so nicely, now more snow to shovel. Plus internet has been acting up, been on the phone to Shaw but might as well take to Angel, think my dog is smarter anyway, lol.... Morning Prim Folk, Happy March 1st to you!!!!! I'm so glad to change the calender page to the third month, that much closer to Spring. A LITTLE GET AWAY

Morning Prim Folk,  hope all is well with you. Here we are into the last days of February, wow!!!!!!                                                                                 Took a little trip to Vermillion Bay, Ontario to spend a few days with  friends and do some ice fishing.  The weather is not bad, plus the ice shacks have propane heaters to keep you cozy while fishing. I caught a nice Northern Pike which turned into our supper with some Walleye, yum yum. Enjoyed our visit, watched   beautiful birds we don't get back home at their feeders. So all and all  a wonderful visit, enjoyed our little road trip. .......Blessings Francine.

COLD

Morning Prim Folk, sure hope it's warmer where you are, it's a frigid -29 with the windchill, brrrrrr. Getting tired of Ole Man Winter now a days, dreaming of Spring time and warmer weather. The only good thing is that the sun has been shining which  sure does make  the cold temps bearable.  So even though very cold today, the warmth of the sunshine shining through the front window is warm and wonderful. .......Wishing you a great Wednesday, Blessings Francine.

WELCOME FEBRUARYS

Morning Prim Folk,  Happy February 1st!!!!! Wow!!! January flew by  but hey that's o k for  I am joyful that  February is here.   A nice short month which means Spring is that much closer. Along with the first of February it brought the cold back, very frigid this morning but the sun is coming out. We had some really nice mild days for January, even the snowbanks  seemed to have shrunk, yay!!!!!!! So here we are in the month of love, lets spread lots around, like confetti.   Blessings Francine.

PURPLE BOWS

Morning Prim Folk, Happy Friday to you and here we are at the end of January already, wow!!!!!                                                                                     Last week took Angel to the groomers for a new do, she was looking a little scruffy but with the cold weather kept her with longer fur. Now with  the milder temps it was time to take her for a clean up. The groomer makes these sweet bows for her dogs and always puts them in Angels ears when finished grooming. So today was pretty purple stripped bows, with  looking and smelling lovely,  Angel posed for the camera, even though she does not like it, lol....                                                                                                          Wishing you a wonderful weekend, Blessings Francine.

MISSING YOU

HELLO

Morning Prim Folk,  here we are in the middle of January already, kinda a good thing. Nothing to exciting around here lately, the bitter cold finally ended though. From last week -46 to 0 and into the pluses this week, some crazy weather but we'll take it. I have been putting out extra food for the birds and bunny's through the cold, felt so bad for them. Spotted this sweet little bunny yesterday morning out the front window, cute!!!!!                                       Wishing you a wonderful day, Blessings Francine.

MY SWEET ANGEL

Morning Prim Folk, still very cold in these parts, every night in the -38's, so so frigid.          I'm thankful though for my sweet little furry blanket, Miss Angel is always by my side or lap keeping me toasty warm when I'm sitting in my cozy chair, I guess she is thinking the same thing, (giggles). I love her so much, she is my sweet little Angel that's for sure... Cozy Blessings Francine.

WINTERPEG

Morning Prim Folk, hope your New Year was happy, ours was very quiet.        A cozy evening together watching the hockey game then off to bed, no ringing in midnight just snoring. That's fine with me, love staying home sweet home.                                                                                          December broke a record with the amount of snowfall that fell in over a 100 years, is there a lot of snow!!!!! Got walloped twice with blizzards not far apart from one another, thanks Colorado, you could have kept it to yourself, lol. Now it's January and old man winter is bitter cold, last night was -38, yup, throw another quilt on the bed cold. So, all is cold and snowy here in good ole' Winterpeg, as it should be, ha ha...
