A LITTLE GET AWAY

Morning Prim Folk,  hope all is well with you. Here we are into the last days of February, wow!!!!!!                                                                                 Took a little trip to Vermillion Bay, Ontario to spend a few days with  friends and do some ice fishing.  The weather is not bad, plus the ice shacks have propane heaters to keep you cozy while fishing. I caught a nice Northern Pike which turned into our supper with some Walleye, yum yum. Enjoyed our visit, watched   beautiful birds we don't get back home at their feeders. So all and all  a wonderful visit, enjoyed our little road trip. .......Blessings Francine.

    Hi Francine,
    I love fish, too!! Your catch is HUGE and you have the photo to prove it!! My uncle used to do lots of ice fishing in MI and I fished with him once but his "hut" was much more primitive and COLD!! The birds are beautiful!!

    I also love fish! Great catch of the big guy! I've always wondered what the inside of an ice hut looked like, I'm glad you took photos to show us. Love the beautiful birds, too. Enjoy your weekend!

    I can see you had a great time, Francine. That is one nice shelter. We have ice fisherman on our lake and the shacks are nothing to look at! Great looking fish! I do fish but we always release...I'm not good at all cooking fish.

    Wow, Francine! What a catch you made. I have never seen or been on an ice fishing adventure and it looks like a lot of fun. I am glad you have been able to enjoy yourself with friends for a mid-Winter fun time together.

    Great catch Girlfriend! I bet dinner was exquisite! I love fish...and, in my day, fishing....but not ice fishing....
