GOT SNOW???
Morning Prim Folk, hope you all enjoyed a long weekend, finding it hard to believe it's Tuesday already. We received more of the white stuff Sunday night, always a joy to make up to more snow on the already high snow banks, NOT!!!! So I spent my day off with my trusty shovel in hand making a path to the mailbox. Then I find the snowplow and grater had cleaned the street and left a very high ridge on the front walk, oh bother. So I started clearing the ridge when the neighbor across the street came over to help me, a Angel in camouflage. Cam was not feeling well so I really appreciated his help, he only asked for a cup of tea, well, spiked with a little rum, no problem. We are enjoying milder temps this week, in the single digits , woo hoo!!!, but the weekend cold once again, so I will enjoy the warmer weather this week.................Wishing you all a wonderful day, Warm Blessings Francine.
That seems like fair payment. Lol Very nice of your neighbor to help. That ridge that the street plow leaves at the end of the path is always hard packed and heavy to move.
Now that is a lot of snow you have there Francine!.. I hope you took it easy after a job like that ..Bless that good neighbor!..i think i would just request the whole bottle with that job.(minus the tea).. ;0) giggles ... Then you could just park me at the road side in an orange hat for the rest of the day.. I would scare the plow guy away from blocking you in again ;0) .. Enjoy your heat wave .. ((HUGS))
Shiver, shiver and again because no one should have that much snow. You to start "wintering" down here with us but make sure to bring that tea and rum. Donna
What a good neighbor you have. I am so sick of all this snow too. My daughter has another snow day today!! Spring will be even more special and appreciated this year. Warm hugs ~ Jenn
I had a neighbor with a shovel help me out about a month ago too Francine, it's a welcome sight to see them headed your way! Hope Cam feels better. I've never heard of tea with rum...I bet it warms ya up! Stay warm ~*~Lisa
I feel your pain Girlfriend.....You have as much, if not more, snow than we do....We got another 3" or so Saturday (hmmmm....it was supposed to be "clear"), another 6" or so yesterday, and they are say up to another 8" Thursday. UNCLE!!! We are used to a lot of snow in Nod, but this is a lot even by our standards....and our snowiest month is yet to come. :o( Glad to read your neighbor helped out with the shoveling.... A neighbor of ours (which is a loosely defined term in Nod since we are out in the boonies) came and plowed us out several times when my husband was in the hospital for so long....It took me a bit to figure out who was doing it, but I gave him one heck of a hug when I found out..... Stay warm and cozy my friend.... Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin
Bless your heart. I won't tell you it has been mid 60's here the last 2 days. I am over winter, as most of the US is.lol Aren't neighbors a blessing? Mine certainly are.
I went to work in the snow and Bob got stuck in it when he left...wasn't sure if I would get back in, but thankfully they plowed our road. Wonderful neighbor to help you out. Janice
