MERRY TUESDAY
Morning Prim Folk, hope all is well in your neck of the woods. The weather has been milder, whew!!! but snowy. Won't last, will be back to the deep freeze tomorrow with very cold wind chills, throw another log on the fire kinda cold, :)....................Saturday went and picked up a tree at a tree lot, was so cold so we didn't linger to try and find the perfect tree plus they are all tied up and skinny so hard to tell what they would look like, I don't mind not picking the perfect tree anyway. Bought a Balsam, sure is a nice tree, the smell is so wonderful. I like to decorate with a assortment of ornaments, from the old Shiny Brights to handmades, to family ornaments we had on the tree when I was small, sweet memories. I also like just the white lights and my Sister bought me years ago strings of bell garland that I love, so that is my tree for 2013, love it....................Yesterday my Sister popped in, always nice to see her and she stayed for supper, then my Girlfriend came over with Dean, oh my, he is quite the little man. Talking up a storm, can say anything, so smart, his 2nd Birthday is Wednesday, the same day as my Girlfriends. It will be her first Christmas without her Husband, she still misses him so much.........................Wishing you all a great day, Warm Blessings Francine.
Love the tree! And your wall and ceiling...BEAUTIFUL. So many memories in ornaments. Hope you can add a few this year that will make your heart smile next Christmas! ~*~Lisa
LOVE your tree! ♥ It all looks beautiful! Boy, I would love to have a fresh tree. I'm guessing so would Twinkle Toes Stella. Stella + fresh tree = Yikes! But I do have a fresh wreath on the front door. The little wee one is adorable! Looks like he's talking up a storm in the photo too! Just precious!
Merry Christmas, Francine. What a lovely tree with such special memories/ornaments. I know your friend is struggling this season; she is blessed to have your friendship. Dean is so cute.
Hi Francine, Your tree is so pretty with all the wonderful ornaments!! I love the shape of it too.....just perfect!!! Your home looks so cozy and is the perfect place to snuggle up on a cold day....which it sounds like you are having plenty of!! Wish I could send you some of my 80 degree weather!!! The little man is too cute and looks like the perfect playmate for my Bella and Sophia!!! Have a great week, my friend! Warm Hugs~ Julie
Your Christmas tree is lovely and it's nice to spend time with your sister and a friend. It's always a sad time for some every year. Love the little mittens. We went to a historic plantation last weekend and I took a photo of the mittens they had hung and plan to put it up as my banner. I may do that today! Happy holidays!
Love your mittens strung in front of the fire! Brings back memories of snow glogged mittens above the wood stove when I was little! Merry Christmas Francine! ♥
Love the tree reminds me of my childhood trees. We had tons of shiny brites mostly because they were hand me downs.LoL..Warm Blessings!~Amy
