RED BARN SALE

Morning Prim Folk, hope you are enjoying the weekend so far.....beautiful morning here, will be another warm day but I have to go to work.............I did happen to hit the annual Red Barn sale the other day, on our way home from the lake.......one of my favorite sales to go to, plus the place is so beautiful out in the country..........They own Clydesdale horses, really pretty chickens, I never saw any chickens like that, white with black spots, like the coat of a Dalmatian dog, and they are so friendly, come right up to say hi............so is a great place to go, they have the Antique sale every Spring and Fall..............I did find only a few goodies, what I wanted to buy had a sold sign on the item, guess you have to go the first day to get that treasure............I bought a Repro papier mache  candy container rabbit, chair pad, little blue creamer and a old chimney cover with a picture on it, love those, now I have three, and I did buy a homemade scrubby a lady makes, like those for washing dishes, I dropped it and Angel thought is was her new toy, funny girl..............Well, that's about it, enjoy the weekend, till next time, Blessings Francine.

  1. Good Morning!! I thought of you yesterday when I was in town, sitting at at red light and saw a new antique shop that had opened--There were some really lovely things in the window and when I have time I'll have to stop. And by the way, our dogs always think everything is for them too! :-) Enjoy your weekend, I'm sorry I've missed your blog this week--I'm finally feeling like myself this morning!

  10. Nice finds and photos ! The weather here is cloudy damp and chilly for this time of year but tomorrow is to be warmer and sunny. I plan on taking a stroll along the river banks and get some photos of the wild flowers . Thanks for sharing. Have a good day !

  16. Oh my gosh...just reading your post and seeing the picture of your chimney covers I so remember our old house having one of those. It was such a neat old house. I lived there until 6th grade and then we moved and they tore it down. Thanks for jogging my memory!
    Be blessed,
