HAPPY SUMMER
Morning Prim Folk, well, the first day of summer is here and the weather sure feels like it, hot, sticky, humid, boy oh boy........I have been at the lake the last couple of days, great place to be in this kind of weather, but we were chopping down some dead old trees that we were worried might fall on the trailer, can`t have that happening so Timber!!! down they came, but more wood for me.............The Wednesday morning were we sitting by the fire drinking our coffee and down the road here comes a Doe, oh my, I was excited, I LOVE deer, think they are one of Gods most beautiful creatures, she stopped then turned back, guess I spooked her but was I happy, fist deer I had seen in camp...............On the way home yesterday, popped into a few Thrift stores on the way, found a few things.......love the homemade suet feeder for the birds, a log with big drilled out holes to put suet in, neat, 5 little pretty swakky swig glasses, pillow and apple and brown dish, fun to browse around the Thrift stores...............Wishing you all a wonderful fun filled weekend, Summer Blessings Francine.
Wonderful fawn photo ! Oh great finds . It has been lovely here for the first day of summer warm sun and air and cool breezes no humidity at all . Thanks for sharing ! Have a good weekend !
hi Francine, well the lake is a perfect place to be when its so hot and humid. way to hot to play outside today so found lots to do inside. last night we had a bit of rain and it cooled down some but really saltery early this am.. love your thrift shop finds! I too love to look around in thrift stores.. always something that catches my eye! how fun to see the deer huh? we have a woodsy area about 3 blocks from here so have had a lot of deer wondering around actually for years. I haven't seen them in my front yard yet tho! daughter angie lives over near there so has them in her yard. I put out a bird feeder over at her house hoping shed see a deer at the feeder. I never grow tired of spotting a beautiful deer... enjoy your evening!!
Fawns are so precious and helpless. I get so nervous worried that something will get them while they are hidden in the grasses. Hot here tomorrow. FINALLY!!!
Hi Francine, you may not believe this, but I have those same little glasses--I don't know when or how I got them, but I "think" they were part of a juice set, I don't know for sure, but I have had them for a long time.
But it's always fun to see the deer, I never get tired of seeing them! I hope you're enjoying your weekend--We had beautiful weather today!!
How precious! You and I must be kindred spirits...we both saw baby deer this month and love dogs!

ReplyDeleteGreat finds Francine.
ReplyDeleteAnd I would love to get my hands on that sweet little deer!
Every once in awhile a deer wanders in by the cottage. It's always a treat. I hope you are not near any of that terrible flooding.
ReplyDeleteHi Francine, I love little fawns, they remind me of Bambi.
ReplyDeleteLove all of your finds esp. the old glasses.
Have a wonderful summer! hugs, Lecia
May I say it again? You just find the neatest stuff!!
