Good Morning, wishing all my other Canadian blogging friends a wonderful Thanksgiving, hope you enjoy the day with loved ones. Today is cool and rainy here in Winnipeg but we really need the rain, it has been a heck of a dry summer. I had my family over for Thanksgiving supper, the traditional turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, corn/carrots, cabbage rolls, all the good fixins.....ya....I strapped the feedbag on and ate way to much but everything was so tasty. Then the dessert, pumpkin or apple pie, yum yum, I`m a apple pie nut, always been my favorite, not to fond of pumpkin, but all my family enjoy a piece of pumpkin pie and whipped cream. Was a wonderful evening spent with loved ones, telling stories of funny times we have had together, so much to be thankful for, I am blessed. Wishing you all a great week ahead, thanks for all your Thanksgiving wishes to me and mine, you are a thoughtful bunch of terrific gals, enjoy your friendships very much........... Warm Blessings Francine.

Francine ~ Happy Thanksgiving. Sounds like everyone had a wonderful time. Have a great week
ReplyDeleteMmmmmm, we had the same meal except I had bread stuffing, not cabbage rolls. But coincidentally I did have cabbage rolls last week.
ReplyDeleteAt our table we were discussing family traditions and how turkey was for thanksgiving and we always have ham at Easter. And thanksgiving without pumpkin pie would be criminal ;)

ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving to you Francine. Food and family!
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving! I love the foods served this time of year.
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving Francine! Sounds like you had a wonderful time with your family. It cracks me up how we always eat too much and then we go sit and watch a football game and doze off, and no one wants to go in the kitchen and put the food away, because it makes us sick to even look at it. Good times!
ReplyDeleteI hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving, Francine. It's always wonderful to get together with loved ones and celebrate special days.
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by my blog, I always appreciate your visits!
Oh you live in Winnipeg! I had a great-great aunt Harriet who lived there once upon a time long time ago.
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice, cozy photo of loved ones all gathered around the table after dinner. Such photos speak of sweet times of conversation and fun.
