Happy Monday Morning Primfolk, well it`s mighty chilly morn, very close to zero last night here in Winnipeg, nip in the air for sure this morning. Cam bought me some more smaller pumpkins yesterday while I was at work, yes, real sweetheart, so the evening found me doing some Fall decorating in the livingroom.
Started on my old church pew placing the two small pumpkins, witchy pumpkin doll I bought at Winners years ago , fell in love with her and the big wax pumpkin in a wooden bowl.

On to the white cupboard, looks really white in the picture, I don`t like it but oh well. Cam made me the top piece also to hold dishes or whatever, I like to display seasonal goodies on it to. The bottom is really a nice old kitchen cupboard, inside the drawers are lined with metal, guess for flour and all the good kitchen nesessities. Bought it at a yard sale for $20.00, one of my favorite old pieces. Well, thats all folks, shall move on to another room soon. Enjoy the day, Warm Blessings Francine.
i love your old church pew! and a quilt cabinet full of quilts! :)

The quilt cabinet looks so great. I love quilts. I have some of my grandma's and they are starting to get pretty sad looking. But I still like using them.
ReplyDeleteP.S. It was 8 degrees when I left for work this morning. Love it!
Guess I need to start looking for all my Fall and Halloween decorations.

What a sweet hubby you have! I really haven't seen many pumpkins out and about in these parts yet....sure the drought has something to do with it. Love your church pew - I have one very similar....But I have to laugh at Tam's comment about me stealing that crow decoy....You don't know how right she is....I actually have one exactly like it! In all the years of collecting and shopping, I've never seen another like mine until now....If you ever want to part with him, let me know! (Otherwise, lock your doors!) ;o) Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin
ReplyDeleteOh...My goodness! I have had so much fun visiting your blog. You have so many darling posts and your home is as cozy as can be.
ReplyDeleteI love your church pew all filled with prim little accents. I can remember squirming as a little girl on those hard wooden seats and hoping that the preacher would hurry up and pray. Today, I am so spoiled with wonderful padded chairs to worship in. ;-)
Thanks for letting me stroll through your lovely home.
Blessings,
Carolynn
