HAPPY HAPPY

Morning Prim Folk, hope all is well in your neck of the woods....  I'm a happy camper for this is my last day of work then of on holidays for 4 glorious weeks. So looking forward to some R+R, a road trip next week and just plain ole' bumming around at the camp. Heading out to the lake after work today till Friday, been so busy at work on the weekends so doing nothing sounds great about now. Cam bought me these beautiful Sunflowers last week, nice surprise to come home from work tired and find this pretty bouquet.    Have yourself a wonderful week, Warm Blessings Francine.

IN THE GARDEN

Morning Prim Folk, Happy Friday to you!!!!     Cannot believe it's the last Friday of August already but I am looking forward to the warm days of Fall, I've had it with the humidity and heat of summer.  The garden at the lake is doing well though, Cam's happy with his tomato's, carrots and all the other veggies. My pumpkin's are not doing that well though, so small still, they better get growing.  Not sure why I have trouble growing pumpkins, always have to end up buying some instead of enjoying my own....... HYDRANGEA

Morning Prim Folk, hope you all are well. Here it is the middle of August already, wow!!!!!!!  Not much exciting around the yard, many flowers are blooming out but my pretty Little Lime Hydrangea is putting on a show. I love this little plant so, very hardy to our area so it comes back bigger and better each year. Also the flower heads turn a beautiful Bronze color in the Fall, so pretty and can be dried. I have tried to plant the blue and pink Hydrangea with no luck so I will enjoy this little trooper in my garden.            Wishing you a wonderful day, Warm Blessings Francine.

STORMY WEATHER

Morning Prim Folk,  Happy Friday to you!!!!!                                                We sure have been having some wacky weather this summer, so many storms rolling through almost once  a week.  Sunny hot and  humid during the day then the evening comes and boom, thunder, lightning and wicked winds with the rain, rather scary. A few weeks ago we came home from the lake to find this tree broken in the  yard just a few doors down, what a sight. I really don't do good on those hot humid days, I melt, tee hee, so I'm thinking Fall would feel good about now, plus it's my favorite season. Blessings Francine.

BUZZIN' BEE BALM

Good Morning Prim Folk,  Happy August to you though I'm wondering where July went to.....   Flowers are growing nicely in the gardens but it's the pretty pink Bee Balm what's buzzin'. As I sit on the swing by it all I hear are bees buzzing in the blooms, I'm so happy plus it happens to be  one of my favorite  flowers. It's so great to see many bees about, we surly need them.  I feel like I'm doing my part in helping the bees out, growing flowers for them is a good thing.........Wishing you a wonderful day, Bee Blessings Francine

BROTHER'S BIRTHDAY

Morning Prim Folk, Hope all is well with you dear blogging friends..................    My sweet SIL threw a backyard BBQ the other evening for my Brother's Birthday and it was a wonderful time. So good to be with all my family, melts my heart. Nephew's with there kiddo's always brings a smile to my face, so cute they are. I'M STILL HERE

Morning Prim Folk,  wow!!! I  cannot believe I have become such a bad blogger of late and that the end of July is fast approaching, my my. The weather has been hot and humid with  rain storms  thrown in between,  what a weird summer so far.  We are   still going to the lake during the week and working weekends so busy busy it seems......                                               I did receive a beautiful gift the other day from a fellow blogger, blogging friends are the best as I've said before. I came home from work to find a box on the step, inside is the most wonderful sampler from Melinda Cole of Merry Wind Farm, she is a very very sweet gal. We do have a lot in common, share the love of animals, gardening, antiques but she is a gifted crafter, me not so much.
