Morning Prim Folk, hope you all are well. Here it is the middle of August already, wow!!!!!!! Not much exciting around the yard, many flowers are blooming out but my pretty Little Lime Hydrangea is putting on a show. I love this little plant so, very hardy to our area so it comes back bigger and better each year. Also the flower heads turn a beautiful Bronze color in the Fall, so pretty and can be dried. I have tried to plant the blue and pink Hydrangea with no luck so I will enjoy this little trooper in my garden. Wishing you a wonderful day, Warm Blessings Francine.
beautiful and lush!
ReplyDeleteHi Francine~~ I love your hydrangeas!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteThis is the first year in several that my hydrangea have bloomed. They did not like the bitter cold of a couple of previous winters.
Happy Sunday to you :)
Lauren
Happy Sunday Sweet Francine! Your hydrangea is gorgeous... They are one of my absolute FAVORITE shrubs.... I don't have luck with the fancy hybrids either...so I have a few that work for me, and that's what I stick with. Smiles & Sunday Hugs ~ Robin
ReplyDeleteHydrangeas are hard to grow up North, Francine.

Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThat is so pretty. You will have to share photos again in the fall.
ReplyDeleteI have the Limelight bush which I trim back every year but it's still almost 8'. Sturdy as heck, even after torrential downpours these stems are upright. Love it so much I want the tree variety but it's always sold out in early spring.
ReplyDeleteLovely . Ours has been stunted this year from the heat and drought . Thanks for sharing , Have a good day !
ReplyDeleteI love hydrangeas, and am glad that I finally know "the name" of this variety that I've seen so often, and are so lovely! It has been awhile, and I so hope all is well in your corner of the world! :-)
ReplyDeleteYour Hydrangea is beautiful! Loving the cool temps you sent this way yesterday and today! :)
ReplyDeleteI want these around my yard. I love fresh ones brought in for the centerpiece. Can you plant these now? I am looking to get some things planted for next Spring. Will these be okay to play now? Anything else you could tell me about hydrangeas?
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous hydrangea, Francine! I have never seen the lime color and it is stunning. Enjoy the August bounty!
ReplyDeleteHydrangea is one of my favorites--can't go wrong with limelight! Oakleaf is also a great variety
ReplyDeleteWhat big beautiful blooms! Hydrangeas are my favorite flower and I miss having them. I don't think they do well this far South. Enjoy your week! Hugs!
