GOATS BEARD

Greetings Prim Folk,  Happy Monday to you all....  What a wet weekend it was here, oh my did it rain buckets and buckets. Also such strong winds were blowing, tree limbs were littered everywhere. Crazy weather we have been having lately, would like to know where summer is.  The sun did peek out yesterday morning for all of about an hour,  but let me tell you is was so nice to see even though it was short lived.  I did get out and putter in the gardens for a while,  flowers seem ok,  some knocked a kilter from the wind.   My Goats Beard is huge this year, beautiful fluffy white tufts. The past two years it was small and scrawny but this year it's back to all it's glory, I am so happy about that........

GREY FRIDAY

Morning Prim Folk,  looks like another cloudy day here today.  The weather has not been cooperating very well since the first day of summer.  No sunshine, just grey dull days, raining off and on.  So, really I have not been doing to much, spending the day being lazy, this weather makes me feel like not doing much of anything.  Nothing new to post about,  BORING!!!!!     I have been spending my time on Pinterest pinning away. So addicting, I joined and have boards of my own now,  that's  about exciting as I'll get for now.......... Wishing you all a wonderful weekend,  Summer Blessings Francine.

LADY SLIPPERS

Morning Prim Folk,  Happy Hump Day to all you wonderful blogging friends out there.  Well, the first day of summer was beautiful, sunny warm, then we went down hill from that day. Rainy and cool, everyday has been gloomy since, so where  has summer gone???.............   The Lady Slippers are blooming, so so beautiful.  The purple and white ones are so much taller then the yellow Slippers, but both are stunning......... Had some trouble with blogger lately, could not get my blogs I follow, but checked today and they are back, YAY!!! .........Have a great day, thanks for visiting, welcome to the new followers, Summer Blessings Francine.

GARBAGE PICK

Happy Monday Prim Folk,  hope you all had a wonderful weekend.  Mine was quiet,  my weekend to work so really didn't do much of anything. Did pay my sweet Sister a visit Saturday evening, brought along my Mom too. Always a joy to spend time with family, love them dearly.  Other then that, spent time outdoors playing in the gardens.........Cam came home with a wonderful surprise for me, a beautiful large basket that was in someone's garbage. I love it, it's huge too, not to sure what I'll do with it but it's a keeper, my treasure now.........Wishing you all a cozy summer day, Blessings Francine.

WELCOME SUMMER

Morning Prim Folk,  wishing you all a happy first day of summer.  Nice and sunny, will be a hot and humid day here, will defintly feel like a summer day. Skeeters are out for blood too with all the rain we have been having,  but after the the long cold winter we have endured I really do not want to complain, even though I don't do humid days well.   I have to spray bug repellent on when I want to go out in the yard, flower beds need weeding but  still enjoying being outdoors.  Flowers are growing well, not that many blooming at this time in the flower beds, the annuals in the pots are very pretty. Well, speaking of outside, I shall pour another cup of coffee and go sit out on the swing, love the mornings.  Summer Blessings Francine.

 

DAMES ROCKET

Greetings Prim Folk,  it is a rainy morning here. I do like a softly falling rain when I am cozy in the house, no watering the flowers today, Mother Nature is doing it for me. ........ I want to show you pictures of my sweet neighbors front yard, the flowers are so pretty now that they are blooming.  She has no grass to cut, just rock, stepping stones and plants.  The Dames Rocket is in bloom, the smell is amazing, people are always stopping by to admire her front yard ablaze with purple. I  went out last evening to snap a few pictures, front and side view, wish you could smell the scent of them with me..........Blessings Francine.

SWEET

Morning Prim Folk,  enjoying a beautiful sunny one here,  love it when the sunshine is beaming in the windows. I will take my coffee outside soon and sit on the swing in the warm sun. .........When we were at the lake this past weekend, I was doing a little weeding around the ceders we have. I happened to be bending down by one when a little Chipping Sparrow flew out from it. I thought  what are you doing in there wee one, when I looked closer, there was the sweetest little nest with tiny blue eggs in it, oh my. I felt very bad I had scared her off her nest, but not meaning to. I left and watched, praying the little bird would go back to her nest and  after a bit, she did.  Happy she did, I love to find little natures treasures around, makes me smile.
