SIS-IN-LAWS BIRTHDAY

Greetings Prim Folk,  hope this Sunday morning finds you all well my friends.............Went Friday evening to celebrate my wonderful Sister-In-Laws birthday, Cam, myself, my middle Sister, her boyfriend and my dear Mother. Her family was not there for they are getting together for a early Easter Sunday  so will celebrate together then.   It was a small group but fun just the same. My Brother bought a red velvet cake, oh yummy, always enjoy being with my sweet family.  I did remember the camera and snapped a few pictures to post............ PRIMITIVES

Morning Prim Folk,  Happy Friday to you all............As you know I do love primitives and decorating with them. I think the look is welcoming, warm and cozy, with so much history of days gone by. I find the the rooms so inviting with all the wonderful primitives from the kitchens to the bedrooms, decorated with quilts, cupboards and all the necessities  of long ago. So as I have said before, I spend hours looking on Pinterest primitive boards and drool over all the wonderful pictures of primitives,  thought I would share some with you.   Thanks for visiting, Blessings Francine. 

MEEEEELTING!!!!!!!

Good Morning Prim Folk, hope you are all  doing fine this middle of the week day.  We are enjoying some really nice sunny snow melting days, yipee!!!!! it is about time.  Today the temperature is suppose to be in the 50's, oh ya, you can bet I'll be hanging around outdoors doing a little cleaning up.   Don't get me wrong, there is still a lot of snow out there but it is shrinking  every day, I am starting to see the top of my birdbath now.  Thanks for stopping in, wishing you all a great day, Spring Blessings Francine. 

CUPBOARD REDO

Greetings Prim Folk,  finally having really nice Spring like days here in the Peg, warm and sunny.  Sure felt good to be outdoors in the sunshine and to open the doors, not be all closed in........ Spent Sunday redecorating my white cupboard in the living room. Needed a change for I had a set of old dishes in it for many years, so out came the dishes.  Plus was wondering what to do with the new old wooden box I bought at the sale.  Decided to stand it up on the lower shelf,  put three of my bobbins and flicker candle standing in the compartments, candle on tin star, little stitchery and my old jar of glass pine cones I treasure, then added a few Easter goodies. On the top shelf, folded up my blue coverlet, sweet friend quilted pillow and stoneware  pitcher. So that is how I left my tweaking in the cupboard, I  like the change......Thanks for popping in, Blessings Francine.

ANTIQUE SALE BUYS

Morning Prim Folk,  Happy Saturday to you all. Nice and sunny here, finally some warm temps are heading our way...............Had a fun evening last night looking at all the old treasures at the Antique sale that was held in Winnipeg this weekend.  Picked up one my sisters on the way, she loves to look at all the great old stuff too.  I find it so over whelming walking in, don't know where to start, don't want to miss out on a great buy, so many tables and people.   A little disappointed in not finding that many primitive pieces, but around here there is not a lot of people into the primitives, I wonder why :)   I did find some goodies though, a  old wooden box with compartments, might use as a shelf, not to sure yet but love it, a tiny tin heart and I have a thing for old bowls,  found a small  one with a nice blue band around  the middle.     My sweet Sis bought me a  rabbit egg cup, adorable,  thanks Sis, so that's all folks.          Wishing you all a wonderful weekend, Spring Blessings Francine.

SISTERS

Morning Prim Folk,  no April showers here yet,  just warm sunshine melting all that snow slowly, yay!!!!!    Went to get the mail the other day after work and found a big envelope in the mailbox, hmmmm, what could this be  for me.  Well, what a surprise when I opened it to find this cute Spring Is Here sign in the shape of a bunny from my very own big Sister. My heart melted, what a sweet Sister, made my day, love the picture of the wee chicks on it too, I adore it.  Sisters are the best. I am so blessed with two big sisters and a wonderful Sister-In-Law,  all so caring, loving,  they are also my best friends, love them more then words can ever say...............   I am  also excited about tomorrow for the Antique sale is here, starts Friday afternoon till Sunday at the Downs, I have been waiting for this sale, yipee!!!!! Hope I can find some treasures to bring home, it has been awhile, need a prim fix bad.  It is a huge sale that comes every Spring and Fall, I find it very over whelming walking in, so many tables, never know where to start I get so happy...

PIN KEEP SWAP

April Greetings Prim Folk, how nice to flip the calender  ahead another month, hopefully April showers bring May flowers.   Finally supposed to be warmer temps this week, yay!!!!!!!!!           I   joined  in on  Wendy's  at Ravenwood  Whimzies Primitives  pin keep swap, always enjoy  the swaps.  My partner was   Sherry of Blessings From Our Nest.  I received my swap package yesterday,  I was so excited, then when I saw the pin keep, was I really happy.  What a talented crafter  Sherry is, the sweetest little bunny pin keep standing in a old tin tart cup, adorable holding a thimble for pins.

 She also added the nicest bundle of quilt pieces, such beautiful colours and so soft. Thank you so much Sherry, love it all and Wendy for hosting this fun swap,  Spring Blessings Francine.
