Morning Prim Folk, it's a soggy wet rainy long Labor Day weekend here, started Friday and it's still coming down. We were at the lake but when the rain starts pouring down and does not let up, we pack it in and head homeward bound. So, being stuck indoors for a change and the beginning of the lovely month of September, I have been doing a little Fall decorating. Out come the gourds, well, I do have them out all year long, Indian Corn, dried sunflower heads and Bittersweet, starting small. Filling old bowls and trencher adds a nice simple primitive touch I think. I always tell myself, keep it simple but then I see such great looking Autumn prim vignettes on Pinterest and I want to decorate the same way, whats a girl to do, (SIGH). Wishing you all a safe and happy Labor Day weekend, Warm Blessings Francine.

ReplyDeleteyour sweet little camping abode. Looks like so much fun. I love
the closeness that you have with your mother and sisters. I always
wanted a brother or sister and the folks gave me monkeys and
other pets. Not the same! Julia in SC

Well being out of commission now, it seems my Fall decor is what it is now..nothing will be added to the other rooms, since I can't get into our attic now. SIGH. Hopefully my blogging buddies will show off their homes. Love your simple decor. Janice
ReplyDeleteLove all your fall touches! I'm beginning to see some signs of fall in our area and I'm looking forward to some cooler weather and opening of windows!
ReplyDeleteLove all the gourds! We are tired of rain down here! My live oaks have green moss growing all over them...and my driveway and sidewalk does as well. It's been a very wet summer, but we prefer wet to drought any day.
