FALL TABLETOP

Morning Prim Folk,  here we are at the end off September already, seems like I was just welcoming the month now saying so long, wow!!!! time does fly. The weather has been so nice, such a beautiful month I think, enjoyed spending my time outside cleaning the flower beds and doing a little Fall decorating outdoors. I was out the other day redoing the table that I have outside, like to change it up for the different  months. I put the Bittersweet I brought from the lake in my small orange watering can, a  terra cotta pumpkin head with a pot of yellow Merrigolds and red Geranium.  Will change  it up for Halloween soon, add some more pumpkins.  I also hung this driftwood heart on the front door that I fell in love with when we went to Ontario, such a beautiful  heart....Wishing you all a cozy day, Fall  Blessings Francine.

WELCOME AUTUMN

Afternoon Prim Folk,  Happy Fall to you all!!!! Love this time of year, September has been really nice weather wise.   We have been enjoying our days at the lake during the week for now I work every weekend, but that's ok, we are the only ones at the camp during the week.  Had my Mom , sister and her boyfriend  come down for a visit, so wonderful to have them. Cam has been doing a lot of fishing, we take evening boat rides, even picked Bittersweet along the bank and really enjoying my campfires. Will try and get out there as much as possible, even into October if the weather allows. .....Wishing you a wonderful day, Fall Blessings Francine.

SWAP GOODIES

Morning Prim Folk,  hope all is well in your little corner of the world. Mine is just peachy, for I received the most wonderful Fall/Halloween package yesterday.  My swap partner once again was Donna Harris, with one of the greatest blog names, Dirty Martini Queen. A really lovely gal from way down in Tennessee, I was excited to get her as a partner again for I had her with the Christmas swap a couple years back.  I   opened the box to find everything wrapped so nice with orange and black tissue paper, almost to nice to open but I was like a kid on Christmas morning, tearing away to find the most wonderful prim treasures. Donna knows me so well, we like the same things it seems, sweet stitcheries, turkey candle and cookie cutter, prim black cat face , pumpkin face box filled with yummy treats, candy corn, sampler which I adore, the sweetest little old dog, also the neatest   star pan with acorns and candle, what a treasure. She really spoiled me once again, thank you Donna, love it all. Also thanks  to sweet Amy, at Bubble Bee Lane, such a darling gal for hosting these fun swaps.....Wishing you all a wonderful day, Warm Blessings Francine.

IN THE GARDEN

Morning Prim Folk,  Happy Saturday to you all!!!!  I have been loving this cooler weather lately, nip in the air kinda temps. The garden is slowing down, not to much blooming now. The Black-Eyed Susan's and a few others are still showing some life, hoping Jack Frost stays away a little longer yet. The Grapes are ready to be picked, many birds are helping themselves to a snack of big fat berries.  My beautiful Lime  Pee Wee Hydrangea  has turned from lime to bronze, so lovely I think. Soon will be time to go out and clean all the faded blooms up and tuck the garden in for winter, but for now I will still enjoy natures beauty of September. .....Warm Blessings Francine.

WELCOME SEPTEMBER

Morning Prim Folk,  it's a soggy wet rainy long Labor Day weekend here, started Friday and it's still coming down.  We were at the lake but when the rain starts pouring down and does not let up, we pack it in and head homeward bound.  So, being stuck indoors for a change and the beginning of the lovely month of September, I have been doing a little Fall decorating. Out come the gourds, well, I do have them out all year long, Indian Corn,  dried sunflower heads and Bittersweet, starting small. Filling old bowls and trencher adds a nice simple primitive touch I think. I always tell myself, keep it simple but then I see such great looking Autumn prim vignettes on Pinterest and I want to decorate the same way, whats a girl to do, (SIGH).  Wishing you all a safe and happy Labor Day weekend, Warm Blessings Francine.
