SAME OLD

Morning Prim Folk,  hope this Thursday finds you all well...... Nothing much new around here lately. Still darn cold, no end in site of this bitter cold weather anytime soon. The only good thing is the sun has been shining everyday, thank goodness, also nice the days are getting longer.   Evening finds us in the warm cozy porch watching a lot of T.V. I'm afraid, not much else to do or want to do.  Been watching The Voice, American Idol and rooting on our Winnipeg Jets NHL team, hoping they make the play offs coming up. Yes, I am a big hockey fan, always have been, it's the Canadian way, EH!!!!! So, like I said, nothing new or exciting to tell you, just the same old everyday happenings...... FEELING SAD

Morning Prim Folk,  Today would have been my   Dear Father's 90th Birthday,  he passed away 14 years ago. I still miss him so much, think of him everyday. If only I could sit with him once again and listen to his stories about fighting in World War 2,  his love of trains, Locomotives chugging down the tracks he used to watch as a boy.  The great outdoors that he loved so much also, fishing, camping, just being out at the lake respecting nature.  Another love of his was leaving the cold behind here and  Wintering in his beloved Arizona, he adored that Grand Canyon  State so much.  Father  has passed on his love of many things to his children, Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.   We all love the outdoors, many of us go camping and  fishing,  reading, he loved books too, and Great Grandsons Sloan   and  Oscar love trains.  ........

You are always with me Daddy,  I keep you warm and safe tucked away in my heart.  Love Always, Your Baby Girl Francine. XXXX OOOO  

THINKING SPRING

Good Morning Prim Folk,  hope you are all fine this Wednesday.   Still so cold out here, the frigid weather is not letting up, go away wind chill and don't come back another day.   So I have been stuck inside dreaming of warm Spring days, decorating to help me feel like maybe Spring will come sooner then later.  I did see a very cold Robin the other day, felt so bad for him, but could that be a sign, hope so.  Still I am thankful we have not had the blizzards out in the East and in the States as others have endured. Hope everyone is warm and safe, including the animals that are kept outdoors.......Thanks for your visit, always welcome, Warm Blessings Francine.

BIRTHDAY AND BABY

Morning Prim Folk,  hope all is well with you my sweet friends...... Sunday we were invited to my Sister's to celebrate my Nieces son's third Birthday, can't believe Oscar is now three years old. Also to finally meet little baby Annie Rose for the first time. They came in from Toronto to house hunt for they are moving back here to Winnipeg, yay!!!!!  Just heard that the house sold in Toronto so they will be moving here for good soon.  Oscar was a little shy  with me but had fun opening the presents  and eating his  yummy cake. Sweet Annie Rose is a dolly, she is already teething at 4 months, I really enjoyed loving her up.   My Sister is so happy to have her daughter, Son-in-Law and Grandkids  here for Oscars Birthday and that soon will be  moving back,  the family is overjoyed.......Thanks your visiting, have yourselves a wonderful day, Warm Blessings Francine.

SWEATER WEATHER

Good Morning Prim Folk, Happy Friday to you!!!!!  Still chilly here of late,  temps are hovering in the -20's.  Woke to see snow fall through the night but just a light dusting, enough to grab a broom and sweep the walk.  Nothing like the crazy stormy weather  some people are experiencing  lately,  dumped with so much snow, hope they are safe and warm.   We did have some nice milder temps a while back but now chilly cold. Angel has to wear her sweater when going outside, me too, love a warm cozy sweater..........Tomorrow I am heading out to the Racetrack for there is a fundraiser for the disabled and there will be many booths selling their wares. Antique and collectibles to everything in between. I am excited to go for it's been awhile since I have been out and about treasure  hunting.  Hope I find one or two goodies, always fun to look at all the old goods..... WELCOME FEBRUARY

Good Morning Prim Folk,  Happy February to you all. Hope this month of love is good to you my friends. I am glad to flip the calender page once more, January seems like such  a long month.  We are that much closer to Spring now, I believe 48 days to that wonderful day...... It turned very cold here this weekend, biting wind chills with the temperature way down low once again. Extreme cold warning in effect, yikes!!!   Think I will pour myself another hot cup of coffee, curl up in my favorite chair with cuddly Angel and dream about gardening and being out at the lake to warm myself up.....
