GOODBYE 2015

Morning Prim Folk,   Christmas has come and gone, I feel rather sad about that. Way to fast for me, I looked forward to my Sister and Mama coming to spend the night Christmas Eve,  spending time with family over the holidays. Well, we did but almost in a blink of an eye it was over.  Christmas Eve and Christmas Day  were so wonderful, I love being with my sweet family so, I cherish those moments, but like I said, went by in a blur. I did take pictures of loved ones but I cannot download them, gads!!!!!! So this week in between Christmas and New Years I have been enjoying the sweet time with the tree still aglow, I do keep Christmas up till after the New Year, that's the time to relax and take the magic of the season in......Wishing you all a wonderful New Year, may 2016 be good to us all!!!!!! HANG YOUR STOCKING

Good Morning Prim Folk,  well, here we are already, Santa Clause is coming to town.  Sure came up fast to me, but then it always does.                         I'm excited for we go to my Brother's house this evening for a good ole fashion Christmas Eve with food, fun and loving family.  My sweet SIL out does herself cooking and baking and might I say she is great at both, have to wear the stretchy  pants for sure. Even good Ole St. Nick makes an appearance, so much fun to watch the small ones faces lite up when he gifts them with a present, even us adults receive a gift, Santa is very giving.   Then homeward bound with Mama and Sister spending the night with us here, really love to have them stay and wake Christmas morning with them.   Christmas day we are off to my other dear Sister's home to share in yet another great supper of Turkey and all the trimmings, she is also another wonderful cook.  Oh how I adore my family time............Wishing you all  a cozy Christmas Eve, Warm Blessings Francine.

WINTER SOLSTICE

Good Morning Prim Folk,  Happy Winter Solstice!!!!!!  Here in Winnipeg the weather has not been to frightful, usually we are freezing our you know what off's.  With wind chills in the minus -30's or lower, so sure cannot complain as of yet on the winter weather. Last week had a Colorado low blow though dumping lots of snow but other then that, temps have been above freezing, we will be having a white Christmas after all.......Warm Blessings Francine.

CUTENESS

Morning Prim Folk,  cold one here in Winnipeg, Old Man Winter has arrived....   My Girlfriend popped in last evening with her new 8 week old puppy to meet me, I was excited to see her. She is so so adorable, part American Bulldog and Cane Corso, she is little now but will be a big girl soon enough.  All she wanted to do is cuddle up in my lap, Angel didn't like that to much. BIRTHDAY BOY

Morning Prim Folk,  Happy Wednesday!!!!   Sunday we were invited to share in wee Landon's first Birthday, I am his great great Auntie. Of coarse we went to the celebration, always look forward to family, food and fun. And fun times we had!!!!!! OH CHRISTMAS TREE!!!!!

Good Morning Prim Folk,  Happy Sunday to you all!!!!!!   Decided to put the tree up the other day, cannot believe less then 2 weeks will be Christmas day.  Cam helped put  the tree in the stand and I did the rest, the house smelled of pine forest, love that.   My tree is primitive by no means,  it is decorated from  the  Christmas trees of my childhood.  Many ornaments are from when I was little passed down by my parents, treasured old Shiny Brite balls  from all the antiquing over the years, still love them and many  ornies/ homemades  from loved ones gifted at Christmas. So my tree is a treasure of wonderful memories of old and new, every year is such a delight to unwrap each one and hang on a  real Christmas tree.............Wishing you a warm cozy day, Blessings Francine.

A LITTLE CHRISTMAS

Good Morning Prim folk,  hope all is well you you, the big day is sure coming up fast.                                                                                                 I have been spending my days doing a little more decorating for the Holidays. Playing Christmas tunes, sipping my Christmas coffee blend, so yummy I think, as I go. CHRISTMAS GLOW

Evening Prim Folk,  I have been doing a little Christmas decorating these days.   Put up my skinny little tree in the living room, will get the real tree for the porch soon but for now, love my lite tree in the front window. Also tucked timer lights and  greens in the wooden ware with sheep and one with a reindeer, I love the cozy glow at night.  Wishing you a wonderful week, Warm Blessings Francine.

GOT SNOW

Good Morning Prim Folk,  it is a frosty one here in The Peg, Jack Frost is a nipping at my nose already.   Had a Colorado low come blowing in Thursday when we were on our way home from Minnesota,   was quit the ride home on the bus, could not see  very far  in front of you, white knuckled her all the way but made it home safe and sound. Thanks for the good luck, it worked, came home with some money and had a blast shopping, good trip.  Even  had my middle sister surprise us the second day, her boyfriend booked a room for the night so we could be together, so sweet, love my Sister time.........Back to the white stuff, snowed two days, will be a white Christmas for sure, really never had a doubt, I do live here in Winterpeg, HA!!!! So happy I went out and decorated the outside for Christmas when the weather was still nice, nothing like freezing putting up the decor.......Wishing you all a cozy weekend, Warm Blessings Francine.

MAMA'S BIRTHDAY

HELLO NOVEMBER

Morning Prim Folk,  here we are into the month of November and  it has been very dreary here so far. No sunshine for over a week, feeling very blue with these cloudy wet days. Also the darkness comes so early in the evening with the time change, feeling out of whack with the changing of the clocks too does not help.  The only brightness to these gloomy days is that  my pretty Christmas cactus is in bloom, a little early I thought for Christmas is still over a month away, but I will enjoy those beautiful bright pink blooms as long as can.......   Wishing you a cozy day, Warm Blessings Francine.

MEET JACOB

Morning Prim Folk,  October sure fly by, Halloween already Saturday. Better get my running shoes on, we have over a 100  kids coming to the house, last year 130 came a trick or treating, by the end of the evening, I was  pooped out. But that's ok, love seeing the little ones dressed up.......      I have been wanting a primitive scarecrow to hang on the front door so yesterday I took matters into my own hands. Went to a Thrift store to find wee baby jeans and flannel shirt, had the homemade pumpkin I used for the head and small corn cobs for the hands and feet. So, there is my homemade prim scarecrow hanging on the front door.... Cozy Blessings Francine.

Morning Prim Folk,  Happy Sunday to you!!!  Yesterday attended my Nieces daughter's first Birthday party, what fun. It was so nice to see the sweet family back here for they lived in Toronto for years and just moved back to Winnipeg this Spring. Annie Rose is a living doll, so so cute as is her older brother Oscar. He was busy playing downstairs and would not sit still for a picture but I did get to take of Annie Rose and also with her Grandma and Great Grandma. Was a magical day spent with loving family.... HELLO

Morning Prim Folk,  it's been awhile, but not to much new and exciting around here lately. The weather has been  nice, so I have been spending my time  outdoors in the beautiful Autumn air.  My flower beds are all tucked in for a long winters nap, windows are washed, all is ready for Old Man Winter.  Just sitting in the warm sun sipping a coffee is a simple Fall pleasure, also watching the birds and Squirrels rushing around the yard at the feeders is a joy. It has been just Angel and I at home this week for Cam is off to visit his daughter in Calgary, Alberta, he will be home tomorrow, Yay!!!!  ......Wishing you all a cozy day, Warm Blessings Francine.

Morning Prim Folk, Happy Friday to you all!!!!!  I wanted to share my swap goodies with you, love them so. Rhonda over at Dirt Roads Primitives hosted a Fall swap,  I was lucky enough to have Rhonda as my partner, she is very sweet and one heck of a great crafter.  Her stitching is amazing, she sent the sweetest wall pocket with sunflower and pumpkins, yummy pumpkin tart melts, chocolate pumpkin, cute Fall mat and the most adorable homemade acorns. Her husband picked the acorn tops in the woods by their home and then she made the  acorns using the real tops, I adore them, look great in wood bowl.  Thank you Rhonda for hosting and sending me the goodies. ....Wishing you a cozy, Fall Blessings Francine.

THANKSGIVING

Morning Prim Folk,  hope all is well with you sweet blogging friends.  We sure are enjoying some beautiful Fall days here, I am loving the sight, sounds and smells of Autumn. Wood smoke fills the air, pretty red and yellow leaves, warm days, cool nights, pumpkins popping up everywhere, love love love!!!!!!  Our  Thanksgiving was a great time as usual with family. Brother, SIL, my two sisters with their men and my dear sweet Mama. While I was at work Cam worked his magic in the kitchen, he is a wonderful cook. Turkey, ham, meat pie, mashed potato's, vegies and all the fixins', so much food blessed our table. Family, food and fun is what it's all about, I am very thankful. Warm Blessings Francine.

Morning Prim Folk,  cool rainy day here in the Peg this morning, so I will spend a cozy day inside. A lite pumpkin candle is  burning, yes, pumpkin everything is in the house right now.
