DOWN THE GARDEN PATH
Morning Prim Folk, Happy Thursday to you all....... Very nice morning here, little breeze blowing, sun shining and a little Wren is singing me a song. Went out into the flower gardens to water and pull some weeds, always a new weed popping up over night it seems. The Black Eyed Susan's are stating to bloom, one of my favorites along with the beautiful Cone Flowers. I seem to have lost a couple of the Cone Flowers over winter, dang!! I had a wonderful Orange one but do not see it growing. Blooming also are the Lady's Mantle, Veronica, Blanket Flower, Daisy's, many are just starting to flower. ....Wishing you a cozy summer day, Blessings Francine.
Everything looks wonderful in your gardens ! Sounds like my mornings wedding and watering and being serenaded by birdies ! I love it all to ! Thanks for sharing ! Have a good day !
Hi, What gorgeous photos. I remember how the water beads up on the Lady's Mantle...so pretty! I saw a miniature bee skep (sp ??) the other day for a fairy garden at Michael's Craft Store!
The black-eyed-Susans are one of my favorites too (along with the cone flowers) and we have a lot of them blooming on the edge of our property this year. I literally threw out a bunch of seeds in the fall, and I think that they're the result of that. Unfortunately, my daisies and cone flowers barely came back this year too--I need to go to the greenhouse and change that for next year, your photos really do remind me how I've missed having my own flowers.
I do hope you're doing well, and enjoying your weekend!! Take care!
Your garden is beautiful! I'm surprised we didn't lose more flowers this year because of the winter. Glad to see yours survived pretty well! Blessings~~~Roxie
