HAPPY FRIDAY
Morning Prim Folk, the weekend is here once again, HIP HIP HOORAY!!!!!!! Nice morning here, cloudy but warm, a little Wren is singing and very busy moving into one of the bird houses I have, always happy to have them as tenants for the summer..........Well, I finally got my grubby little hands on a beautiful bee skep for the flower garden. My sweet SIL had asked me if I would like to order one with her and pay half on the shipping, you bet I do. She was ordering them from Michigan and I thought at a fair price too.
So I got the text that the skeps were in Wednesday, YAY!!!! Went and picked mine up after work yesterday and love it so, I have always wanted one and now it sits proudly in the garden, thanks dear SIL for thinking of me............. Also want to wish my big Brother and SIL a Happy Anniversary, today they celebrate 44 years together, Love them both to the moon and back..........Cam, Angel and I are off to the lake this evening, so looking forward to another relaxing weekend at the trailer, Warm Blessings Francine.

FAIRY GARDEN
Morning Prim Folk, it is a beautiful one here, sun is shining, birds singing, all is well..... I wanted to make a Fairy garden for some time, so I finally made one. I used this old rocker I had that the seat was ruined, but the sweet little rocker was only $2.00 at a rummage sale so I bought it anyway, ruined seat and all. I put a piece of material down on the seat and filled with dirt, added a few filler plants, Mosses, Pussytoews and some other plants. Then decorated with some wee goodies, still would like to add a few more things when I find them, but for now, welcome fairies. Wishing you all a wonderful day, Blessings Francine.

MORE PLANTS
Happy Saturday Prim Folk, it is a beautiful morning here, sun is shining and a little Wren is singing outside my window, all is good. I went out yesterday and bought a few more plants, I find it so hard going into the greenhouses, I want one of everything. But I did hold back, for I told myself I am not buying loads of flowers to plant into containers, then I worry about them drying out in the summer heat when we are at the lake so I had to remind myself about that. I bought Million Bells, one of my annual favs, trailing Verbena, Blanket flower and a Pink Threadleaf Coreopsis. Plus some old standbys, now to get in the garden and plant. Also took a picture of the Checkered Lilly blooming, I love this plant so, amazing flowers that are stunning. This evening we are off to the Eagles club for a roast beef dinner they are serving with my dear Mother, Sister and her Beau, yum yum. Enjoy your day, Blessings Francine.

OUT IN THE GARDEN
Hello Prim Folk, happy hump day to you all. Another cool, rainy day here in the Peg, day number three with rain. We have one nice sunny warm day and then three cool wet ones, no Spring like weather here. I did get outside this morning in between the raindrops to check whats coming up in the flower gardens,
I miss being out playing in the dirt. Looks like a few perennials are growing, that's a good thing. Love how the Lady's Mantle looks with the raindrops hugging the leaves, such a beautiful plant, one of my favorites. Always a joy to see the plants return bigger and better year after year. Well, time to have a hot cup of coffee, take the chill off, enjoy the day, Warm Blessings Francine.

HAPPY VICTORIA DAY!!!!
Greetings Prim Folk, wishing all my fellow Canadian blogging friends a Happy Holiday today. Crappy weather here for a long weekend, cold and raining.... We came in from the lake last night, good thing for it is raining anyway. Had a wonderful time out at the lake, relaxed by the crackling fire, read a book, watched the birds, loved it, felt so good to be back. The Hummingbirds were back, I sure was glad I hung the feeder out. I said to Cam, just in case the Hummingbirds are back and thirsty, sure enough, one buzzed in. Also the Rose-Breasted Grosbeak, Chipping Sparrow, Nuthatch, Downy Woodpecker, Gold Finches, Chickadee, glad to see all. Cam got his pontoon in the water, so he was very happy too. Saturday was beautiful, warm and sunny, Sunday not so much. My Sister, her boyfriend and my Mom came out yesterday for a BBQ and a ride on the pontoon. Was so much fun, happy to see my Mom take a boat ride on the lake, it has been a long time for her. My Sis even drove the boat, she did a great job being Captain. All and all a great first weekend at the lake. Wishing you all a beautiful day, Blessings Francine.

HAPPY FRIDAY
Greetings Prim Folk, another cool one but I am happy for it's that time, oh ya, going to the lake for the weekend. I have been waiting to go to the trailer for so long, last year we opened in April, this year so much later with that wicked long winter we had. Here in Canada it is our long weekend, Victoria Day, the weather is supposed to be sunny and warm too. So this afternoon we will be on the road, looking forward to sitting by the fire, watching the birds, taking Angel for a walk, relaxing time. Cam will be out on the water, he bought himself a pontoon boat last Fall so he is looking forward to putting it on the lake..........Wishing you all a great weekend, enjoy my fellow Canadians the holiday weekend, Warm Blessings Francine.

TURN UP THE HEAT
Morning Prim Folk, yup, that cold here this morning. The birdbath water is frozen, it has been cold, windy, rainy here for days now, even saw a few flakes yesterday falling. Come on, it is the Merry month of May Mother Nature, the normal highs for this time of year are 65 degrees not 0. My poor perennials that are peeking out are shivering along with the Pansies I planted, hopefully the sun that is starting to rise will warm them up. Even the visiting birds are sorry they arrived here already, the White-Throat Sparrows are singing, warm me up, warm me up, warm me up!!! But there is hope, starting today the temperature is supposed to be in the two digits and into the weekend, I am really hoping that's true.
Wishing you all a wonderful Spring day, Blessings Francine.

SOGGY MORNING
Greetings Prim Folk, a rainy dreary day here, even had to turn the furnace on to take the chill out of the house. Just as long it stays rain and not turn into dare I say it, flakes............... Hope you all had a nice Mother's day weekend, though I know it must be a tough day on many people who lost their dear Mother's. We were invited to my Sisters for a BBQ, oh ya. Pot luck, we all bring something, Cam made his famous potato salad to bring. Was a great day spent with family as I knew it would be, food, fun and family. Mother had a wonderful day celebrating her special day with us all. The weather was not bad, cloudy but the rain held off for the BBQ, nice to sit outside and eat on the deck once again. Took a few pictures with sweet Mother and her girls.......... Wishing you all a beautiful day, Blessings Francine.

MORNING SUNLIGHT
Greetings Prim Folk, hope all is well with you this Friday....... I was curled up in my comfy chair sipping a mug of coffee, reading a book when I happened to look at the ray of sunshine streaming in the window. The sunlight hit my church pew where I have a wooden bowl of sweet old baby shoes, loved how it looked so grabbed the camera and took a picture. Warm and wonderful, simple and stunning at the same time, thanks for visiting, Blessings Francine.

PLANTING
Greetings Prim Folk, is a rather cool cloudy morning here, rain is on the way. Yesterday I did get out and start planting containers of the Pansies and Johnny Jump Ups I bought, yay!!!!! felt so good to be out in the sunshine getting my hands dirty. Well, I did wear garden gloves but still felt wonderful. It was a nice sunny day, a beautiful Spring day, so I was out as much as I could be and was a great chance to plant, loved it. Warm Blessings Francine.

RUMMAGE SALE BUYS
Greetings Prim Folk, Happy Saturday to you all...... Last evening I went to a Rummage sale with my Sister, it was near her home so we picked her up to join us. We were one of the first people there so was nice to look without banging into people plus had first dibs on the goodies. I was a little dejected at first, went around all the tables and my hands were empty. Went to the last table and spied a sweet hooked chair pad with a house on it, for $5.00, yup, grabbed it. Then spotted a old chocolate egg shaped mold with a sweet flower pattern on it for $3.00, yup, bought that too. Still looking and found these child's wood sock stretcher or dryer, forgot what they are called, for $8.00, hard to find the smaller ones, they will hang with the other set I have. Came across this Root Mason jar with zinc lid for $2.00, cannot believe the great prices the lady had on these treasures. Then I spied another neat piece, the lady told me it is Red Ware, from the 1800's and was used to bake a cake in, how interesting, love it even more now and it is much lighter then a old stoneware bean pot. So for $5.00 I had to have this Red Ware treasure. If any of you antique knowledgeable gals know about Red Ware and if that is what it was used for would greatly appreciate it. So happy I went to the sale and really happy with my treasures all for the price of $23.00, Blessings Francine.

HAPPY MAY DAY
Morning Prim Folk, here we are on the first day of May and the weather is still cool. Oh well, I did get out and buy some Pansies the other day, so pretty, love the little Johnny Jump Ups too. I also found this sweet bunny for the garden, bought it with a gift card I received for my Bday, thank you Sister. Not to sure when I will get to plant them in containers but love the idea they can withstand the cool days, for that's what we have been having. ......Back is still bothering me, paying visits to the chiropractor though, guess it helps.........Thank you for all the wonderful birthday wishes you all sent me, warms my ole ticker so. I did get to use the senior discount when Cam took me out for a Birthday supper, here in Manitoba the age starts at 55 and up so I saved 10%, wheeeee!!! double nickles pays off :)........................Sending prayers for all the people hit by those terrible tornado's, God Bless, Francine.
