BUTTER MOLDS

Morning Prim Folk,  hope you are all enjoying a wonderful weekend so far............ I enjoy these beautiful old butter molds, love the  look, feel and all the different patterns they come in.  I have been collecting the butter molds for some time now, most were bought on a trip  we were on, hard to find them around these parts.  So not only do I love the feel when I am holding one, the worn wood beholds a hand from long ago,  but also a wonderful memory from where I purchased them.  The two smaller molds I bought when Cam and I took a Holiday out East, I won the star mold from a Thrift store auction, bought the biggest one when my Sisters and Mom took a little over night trip together  and Cam gave me one as a gift.  So these beautiful old butter molds are a treasure of memories and a

SUNNY THURSDAY

Good Morning Prim Folk, nice sunny day here, cool but the sun always makes it that much better. I keep telling myself that Spring will one day appear, just hope sooner then later.  So much snow here still, when and if it ever warms up, will not be sorry to see the white stuff finally gone............I decided to change my front door hanger, took out the red Cardinal and put in a peeking bunny, Welcome Spring sign with two  dangleing prim carrots. Maybe Spring will hurry along with the Welcome sign out, about now I'll try anything.............Wishing you all a wonderful day, Spring Blessings Francine.

Morning Prim Folk,  hope all is well for you sweet blogging friends.......No Spring in this neck of the woods yet, miserable cold still.  Heard that it will be cold till the middle of April,  poor poor pitiful  me!!!...... So while we went shopping at Canadian Tire the other day, I had to buy myself  three Geranium seedlings.  I so need a touch of Springtime, so buying these red Geraniums gives me hope that yes Francine, there is a Springtime.   Wishing you all a wonderful day filled with sunshine, Spring Blessings Francine.

HAPPY SPRING

Morning Prim Folk,  hope all is well with you my dear blogging friends...... So happy Spring is here, but you would not know it by the weather here. Still cold, tons of snow and the the wind is blowing from the North today, also a cold weekend is in store for us, oh well, it is March after all......................Made it back safe and sound from South Dakota, no richer in my pockets but much richer in my heart. Had such a wonderful time with the Sister's but I knew I would, we have such a great time together.  Laughed, ate, shopped and gambled ourselves silly for the three days we were together. I did win some money playing the penny machines, woo hoo!!!! so I was happy to bring some money back home with me. Very nice clean casino, lovely little place that Watertown is, all and all had a fantastic trip.  I didn't bring my camera, took pictures with my I-PAD, this is the only one I can put on for some reason. ......

A LITTLE LUCK

Top Of The Morning To You Prim Folk,  Happy St.Patrick's Day to you all, I am not Irish but sure could use some Leprechaun luck.     Had a little blizzard whip through here last night, wow!!!! blowing and snowing, just want I wanted, more white stuff falling, NOT!!!!   That did not stop me from being  very excited,  for tomorrow  morning I  leave  on our annual Spring gambling trip with my two sister's, yay!!!!! Need a getaway so bad, make a run for the border.  We have such a great time together, laughing, eating, shopping, just being plain goofy together. Love my Sister time, good for the soul.  We are heading out on a bus tour for three days to a casino in South Dakota we have never been to, name Dakota Sioux , heard it is a really beautiful casino.  Also there is shopping in Watertown on the second day, always have fun looking in the grocery stores for many goodies there we don't have in Canada.    

 So, even if I come home with no winnings, I have made wonderful memories with my Sister's, that's what counts to me, but, you can still  wish me luck, wink wink, Warm Blessings Francine.

HAPPY SATURDAY

Greetings Prim Folk, sun is shining this morning, that's a plus,  the down side is, still really cold out there, even a wind chill today.  No stopping  this Old Man  Winter is there. Oh well,  I am warm and cozy inside dreaming of what I will plant this year in the flower gardens.   Bought the new Spring issue of  Country Garden magazine, 4 packet of  flower seeds, it's a start and even two pairs of garden gloves.  How can you tell I am getting antsy to be outdoors :) For now,  guess I'll just pour me another cup of coffee, curl up in my favorite chair in the sunshine and read my gardening magazine,  a girl can dream can't she............Wishing you all a wonderful day, Warm Blessings Francine.

FAKING IT

Morning Prim Folk, Happy Thursday to you all.  The sun is slowly rising now, supposed to be a decent mild day here today. Maybe, just maybe Spring is on her merry way........ Yesterday did a little crafting, well, kinda. I had these chocolate look bunny's that I liked but thought I would rather have them look like blacken bee wax bunny's.  So, out came the black paint and spices. Painted the first bunny, sprinkled cinnamon all over the wet black paint, oh ya,  love how it looks.  Did the same to the other three, now have fake black looking bee wax rabbits to put out with my Spring decor. Easy Peasy, then hopped to it decorating with them......I gave one to my Sister as I was going to her place  in the afternoon

to help her declutter  her storage room, always better with four sets of hands, love spending time with her anyway.  She made a yummy lunch too, so I wanted to  surprise her with a small token of  love............. HAS SPRING SPRANG?

Good Morning Prim Folk,  hope all is well you all this Tuesday....... Yesterday was finally a really nice sunny melting snow day.  I can not believe how fast the white stuff can melt, I can even see edges of grass beside the sidewalk,  oh boy!!!!! I do not believe that we will not get any more snow  or cold weather, but what a nice day we were blessed with. I had the front door open all day, so wonderful to be able to do that, even Angel enjoyed staying outside a little longer........Still puttering  around with some Spring goodies,

SUNLIGHT

Morning Prim Folk,  Happy Friday to you all,  glad it's the weekend.   No exciting plans,  will enjoy a quiet one, all right with me. Maybe  do a little tweaking around the house, find myself wanting a few changes in the kitchen...................We were hit with more snow yesterday, yup, lots more, no end to  this white stuff falling, it just keeps coming and coming.   Nothing we can do about it,  just sit back and dream of warmer Spring days that have to come sometimes..................

So the other day I found myself enjoying the sunshine in the living room where my favorite comfy  chair is, like a old faithful friend it sits there waiting for me with a good cup of coffee. HAPPY HUMP DAY

Morning Prim Folk,  hope you are all fine and dandy  this Wednesday my blogging buddies.  I am happy the weather is  a little milder here finally, cloudy today, but along with the milder weather comes that four letter word, snow.
