Happy Friday Everyone, wishing you all a fun filled weekend. Finally the sun has shone for a whole day here YEY!!! We are off to the lake this afternoon till Sunday, YIPEE!!!! and the weather is supposed to be nice, lets hope. We bought these two ceders to plant by the trailer, we have not so nice older neighbors, the only people beside us and he has to be a drunk and she a gossip of the camp, oh well, anyway we decided to plant the trees to give us more protection from them, tee hee. We both love to go to the lake, me to relax, sit by the fire, read, rug hook and Cam loves his fishing, enjoy nature, but the neighbor goes to drink and drink from morning till night, he is a 72 year old man for crying out loud and she just runs around gossiping about all the campers, oh well, what ya going to do, I know plant a row of ceders,ha!!! On a happier note, this weekend is Father`s Day, want to wish all the Daddy`s a fine day. Mine has been gone now for 11 years, still miss his smiling face every day and my heart seems to be missing a little piece of something but know he is in a better place. We had such a great childhood, he bestilled in us the love of nature, the great outdoors, camping and books. To this day all his kids enjoy reading, wildlife and camping, thanks Dad. So hopeing you all enjoy this weekend and it`s full of warmth and love, Warm Blessings Francine.

The cedars sound like they are really needed, so sad. They are really pretty though and I hope they do the trick.

Hmm, we have neighbors across the way who are bothersome too....I'd like to plant a row of cedars to block them out ;) lovely vintage photo of your dad. I just love old baby photos. Enjoy the lake as best you can.

When in doubt plant a tree! I do hope you have an enjoyable weekend at the lake, I hope you find a bit of peace and quiet. When at our lakefront camp, I so enjoy the song of the Loon and the evening serenade of bullfrogs. Summer is coming! Enjoy, Julie.
ReplyDeleteHave fun at the lake! Take care, Janice
