FALL SWAP GOODIES

Greetings Prim Folk,  want to say thank you for all the congrats on my Nieces   baby girl Annie Rose, warms my heart, blog buddies are so wonderful......... I  received my Harvest Gathering swap  package the other day, was so excited.  Inside found many homemade goodies from Cynthia over at Cynzplace.  Love the primitive goodies, three prim flowers, Give Thanks pillow, crow on pumpkin, notepad and  small grungy  pumpkin.  Thank you so much  Cyn and sweet Amy  from Bubble Bee Lane for hosting, she really does a great job putting together these swaps. ........Wishing you all a cozy day,  Fall Blessings Francine.

GREAT AUNTIE AGAIN

Evening Prim Folk, hope you are fine this Monday night....... I sure am, I am happy to say I am a Great Auntie once again. My Niece delivered a healthy bouncing baby girl, so great. Now their little family has a boy and girl, always wonderful to have a big Brother.  The sad part is we will not get to meet her yet, they live in Toronto, a whole Provence away. We welcome this adorable little girl with the cherub cheeks to the family, we are blessed with Annie Rose. ..... .... Fall Blessings Francine.

VINTAGE HALLOWEEN

Morning Prim Folk,  hope this Thursday finds you all well........ Halloween is just about upon us once again... My sweet Sister- In - Law  has a grand  collection of old Halloween treasures she keeps out all year long, she loves the  Halloween holiday.   She has been collecting way before the collectibles were so pricey and were easier to come across.  It is crazy how much some of those paper mache pumpkin heads made in Germany  go for, like the one she is holding,  hundreds of dollars some are worth. I love them too but cannot afford the prices they want for them. So  when I go visit my dear Brother and SIL, I admire  her wonderful collection of spooky vintage Halloween treasures......Boo Blessings Francine.

Morning Prim Folk,  hope you all had a nice weekend...... Cool and cloudy here this morning, but I am warm and cozy inside.  The weather has been very enjoyable of late, this week in the teens also, a taste of Indian Summer.  I have been busy outdoors in the yard, taking in the sun filled warm days...... My girlfriend asked me if I wanted a old enamel top table the other day, without hesitation I replayed sure. Not thinking of where I will put it, really no use for another table but come on, a enamel top table, had to say yes.  So we went and picked it up, not in bad shape, just the way I like them, chippy white paint and all. If I want new I would not like antiques but I like old, worn, want it to look used, love that look.  Now  the wheels started turning in my head, what to do with the table, I know, rip up the front flower bed.  With the over hang from the roof the flowers were dry there all the time so with Cam by my side, away we went taking it apart.  In no time at all the flower bed disappeared and in it's place was a enamel topped table,  old red chair and stove. Loving it so far, now I need something on the table. Call me crazy but out came the long trencher I have, wheels still turning in my mind, what to place in it. Filled it with seasonal goodies, corn cobs, stalks and pumpkins, oh ya, nice. Now will be changing it up for the season's, I am happy I said yes to the table..... Warm Blessings Francine.

CLOSING UP

Morning Prim Folk,  Happy Friday to you all!!!!  The weather has been beautiful these last few days, Wow!!! So with the nice warm days, we had to go do the inevitable, close up the trailer at the lake.  Felt good to be back there, I  feed the birds and right away the Chickadee was thanking me, the Nuthatch joined in and enjoyed their diner.  The day was warm and wonderful, we decided to have one last barbecue there too,  was yummy.  Then out came the tarp, Cam said we should tarp the front up so the snow does not blow in the porch, I agreed. So before the tarp went up, I did  what I had to in the trailer, Cam outside draining the water and such.  The  Autumn

smell of the woods was comforting, pretty yellow leaves dancing with the breeze, sure will miss this place during the winter months......... Fall Blessings Francine.
