HAPPY DECEMBER

Morning Prim Folk, well,  here we are in the Merry Month of December, wow!!!! can't believe it.  I do love this month even though it can be very stressful and hectic but   I try not to let it get me. I still get that excited feeling like a child around Christmas time. The light displays around the neighborhood, Christmas music everywhere,  and people just seem more jolly, warms the heart. In the darkness of evening, I love to curl up cozy in the house with just the tree lights on, candle glow and  watch a good old Christmas movie and enjoy the magic of the holidays.........Wishing you all find some magic of the Holidays in your heart, Santa knows if you've been naughty or nice, Blessings Francine.

  

MERRY SATURDAY

Greetings Prim Folk,  it is a mild morning here, cloudy but nice and I am enjoying my weekend off so far. 

 The other day we had a fresh snowfall so now it really looks like a winter wonderland outside which  put me in the Christmas decorating mode. So out came more boxes, on came the Christmas music and away I went. I told myself I was not going to put out so much but as I look through the boxes that hold the holiday treasures I find it so hard not to................Wishing you all a wonderful weekend, those in the States enjoying a Thanksgiving long weekend, eat, drink and be merry!!!!!! SISTER'S

Morning Prim Folk,  Happy Sunday to you...........Baby it's still cold outside and that Ole North wind is just a blowing this A.M,  brrrrr, hold onto your hats out there.......................Today is a special day for my family, it is my Older Sister's Anniversary and my middle Sister's Birthday, yay!!!!!!  They are truly  the best Sister's a girl could ask for,I love them so much, I am very blessed. Both are also my best friends and we have the best of times together,  so much love and laughter. We are getting together this evening to enjoy a piece of cake and each other. So to my dear Sister's, wishing you both a very Happy day, enjoy, and to all of you in blog land, have a wonderful day to,  Always Close At Heart, Francine.

DRYING TIME

Morning Prim Folk,  Happy Friday to you all!!!!!!  Cold this morning, guess Old Man Winter is here to stay. Had more snow two nights ago, beginning to look a lot like Christmas...........I had been  drying  out some orange and apple slices, I would like to hang them on the tree this year, love the simple look. But mine seem to turn dark where I have seen pictures of nice brighter dried fruit, any suggestions  out there????  I did mine in a oven on low for a few days, any better way?............Wishing you all a wonderful weekend, Blessings Francine.

OUTSIDE HOLIDAY DECORATING

Morning Prim Folk, brrrr, Jack Frost is nipping at my nose this morning, but there is snow on the ground so it usually is cold. In the house warming up now with a steaming cup of coffee. I was out snapping some pictures to use.... .............................Went out yesterday afternoon and did some decorating, put up the garland with lights around the door, on top of the window and hung a pine wreath I just bought at Home Depot. The pine smells so good, just like Christmas should smell like. Then cut some branches off our Blue Spruce, placed in the snowman pail with pine cones, branches and berries on the old chair with my Merry Christmas sign. The garland looks so much better lite up at night, love how it looks. It's a start to the Holiday decorating outside,  will either keep it like that or change some things around, but ok for now.............Angel and I are off to Grandmother's house this afternoon, well, my Mom's, till next time, have a wonderful day, Blessings Francine.
