OLM WANTS TO KNOW

 Now onto why I am so looking forward to Fall, well, it is the nip in the air, the warm sunny days, cool nights,   road trips into the countryside leaf peeping,   fat round  pumpkins, that  big bright  Harvest moon in the black velvet sky,  picking Bittersweet, the  wood smoke smell in the air, cozy sweaters,  ahhh, I can go on and on........Fall  Blessings Francine :)

Morning Prim Folk,  hope you all enjoyed a wonderful weekend...............I sure did, was a beautiful weekend at the lake, the weather was so nice, warm days and cool nights, perfect for sitting by the fire,  but the temperature  did dip down into  the  single digits over night, we were snug as a bug in a rug in the trailer though, I do love this cooler weather, slept like a baby............I had the campfire burning most of the day, read my book, took Angel for a walk, so peaceful out there............I found this wild Turkey  feather out on one of our walks, looks very pretty so I brought it to the trailer, like decorating with bits of Mother Nature at the lake.............Once again the mist was rolling along the water when I woke up Saturday morning, was snapping some pictures,  the fish were jumping right in front of me, wow!!!! went and  told Cam as he was still in bed, you better get out on the lake the fish are jumping  all over and he did......caught some Perch but he released them........................Wishing you all a good day, thanks for popping in, Summer Blessings Francine.

Morning Prim Folk,  Happy Friday to you all, can't believe the last weekend of July, where oh where has the summer gone, but I really don't mind cause I love Fall, :).........The weather here in Winnipeg has been so great, highs in the low 70"s and nice cool nights, do you believe tonight it is going down in the single digits, brrr, but wonderful for sleeping, just need another quilt on the bed..................Yesterday I received my swap package from Cyn, oh boy, so many wonderful goodies she sent....the little candle in the enamel cup smells so great, can't wait to burn it.....the sweet little crow,  
pillow, vintage tablecloth, melon baller, love everything, thanks Cyn and a really big thank you to sweet Amy  over at Bubble Bee Lane, love that name, :)  for hosting these fun swaps, she really is a sweetheart......................After work we are on our way to the lake for the weekend, yippee!!!! can't wait, look forward to relaxing by the campfire..................Wishing you all a great weekend, get out and have some summer fun, Blessings Francine.

HAPPY WEDNESDAY

Good Morning Prim Folk,   I am enjoying a beautiful cool morning while  sipping my hot cup of coffee, life is good... the weather here has been perfect, warm days and cool nights....I will be out puttering in the garden soon, love to go out in the mornings with the  birds singing...................... A  while back at a thrift store I had bought this  rake top, yes, with no handle,  it was red and I thought I could do something neat with it,  boy,  Cam gave me heck for buying it for $3.00 but I wanted it.....so  this is what I ended up using it for ......hung it up in the kitchen and put my collection of enamel spoons on it,  
 
 I like it,  looks good under the red carrier I hung up on the wall too........is it a no or a go??......................Last night  I had a movie date with my sweet Sister, we went to go see The Heat, good movie,  was so funny, we both like Melissa Macarthy, she is so hilarious, always enjoy Sister time..................Wishing you all a great day,  Summer Blessings Francine.

TWEAKING

Morning Prim Folk,  hope you all enjoyed a wonderful weekend,  here it is already  the end of July, can't believe how fast the summer is going.............The weather this weekend has been beautiful, just perfect, warm days, cool nights, love it, the week ahead the same, so nice after all the heat and humidity................Had a thunder storm  move in last evening though, rain came down in sheets and lots of lightning, so dark too, had to put the lights on early but that's ok,  we were safe, dry and cozy in the house.............So I thought it was a  good time to putter around the house redecorating, I do enjoy changing things around, so that how I spent my rainy evening, oh and stopping to cuddle Angle for she was very scared of all the thunder, poor little pooch................Wishing you a wonderful day, Summer Blessings Francine.

BLOOMING FLOWERS

Morning Prim Folk,  Happy Saturday!!!well, we are really enjoying much cooler weather this weekend, yay!!! love it,  last night the temp was going down in the low 50's, so so nice, all the windows were open all night long, woke up to a very cool house, had to put my warm cozy housecoat on and really enjoyed my hot cup of coffee.....................The flowers are doing well even in the heat and humidity,  the pretty Bee Balm is just starting to bloom, one of my favorite's, the Rudbeckia's  too, another flower I love, so many different colors of them and love the color of blue on  this flower, forgot the name of it, looks so pretty in the garden, hard to find a true blue flower for the garden............. GETTING CRAFTY

Good Morning Prim Folk,  hope all is well with you this Thursday..........We are still battling the humidity here but it is cloudy and raining today, but still hot and humid, no breeze either.................We were out at the lake again, went Tuesday to this morning, was relaxing............. I  had found these pieces of wood from the trees Cam chopped down, they looked like slices of watermelon to me so I had brought some paints and painted them up to look like slices of watermelon, have some at home in a wooden bowl so now have some at the lake on the table  on the porch.....................I also received another giveaway win in the mail, I am on a roll, from Kimberly at Brown Bag Studio, a sweet little apron I won this time, thanks Kimberly, love it.......................
