HOME SWEET HOME

Good Morning.......hope this Monday finds you well and enjoying this wonderful time of year.........Still very frigid here today...........You will find me this A.M. curled up in my favorite chair with my hot cup of coffee in my snowman mug,  orange spice tealight burning,MMMM, smells like Christmas,   reading the new January issue of Country Sampler,  oh ya...........just a quite time.............My Christmas work party went well,  had a good time, ate turkey and all the trimmings, my presant a was a tin of  Belgain chocolate cookies........hummmmm,  should I open now or keep them till Christmas?????.........Wishing you all to find a quite time to embrace this special time of year..........take it all in,  goes by way to fast.........Prim Blessings Francine.

Morning Primfolk,  very very cold here this A.M., we are dipping into the low low temps, feels like -31, Old man Winter has arrived and will stay awhile..............But had a beautiful snow fall yesterday,  big fat flakes floating down, I felt like I was in a snow globe, so so pretty................ Snuggled in the evening watching Home Alone, I do enjoy that movie,  watch it every year, still laugh at those crazy two bandits,  must be the kid in me.........popcorn and a mug of hot chocolate.........cozy warm.............This evening I have my work Christmas party, supper then gift giving, shall be fun........though I am such a home body, hard to get me out of the house.......but will go and enjoy the turkey supper with co-workers.............Wishing you a wonderful day filled with warmth and Christmas love..........Blessings Francine.

Frosty Day Decorating

Good Morning Primfolk,  well,  Friday is here once again,  busy time off year............I have not wrapped a presant yet,  baked any goodies,  oh my.....think I have lots of time left till the big day but before I know it, Christmas day will be here...........I do like to keep it slow not rushed and take in the sites and sounds of this wonderful Season...........I braved the cold yesterday and bundled up,  well,  was not that bad but the wind was biting once again.......wanted to decorate the front yard a little........so I hung garland with lights around the front door,  wreath and put out my fence snowbuddies my Sis-In -Law made some years back,  love them so..........then I put out the old white sled Cam found me in someones garbage one year,  I was so happy when he came home with this great old white sleigh,  wanted to hang the  childs old skates on the sleigh but was getting chilly and Jack Frost was nipping at my nose so decided to  just leave the red bell wreath and greens......... and hung a Merry Christmas sign on the front gate.........thats all folks!!!.....Came into the warm house and enjoyed a hot cup of coffee, ahhhhhh.......Enjoy the weekend my blogging buddies........take a moment to enjoy this beautiful time of year, Warm Blessings Francine.

 MMMMorning, ccccold here again this morning, have to get my fake fur lined panties out, tee hee,  the wildchill brings the temps down low.......but I`m warm and cozy in the house, enjoying a cup of hot coffee.........Still doing a little decorating here and there.............Last night decided to go out and do some Christmas shopping for my Son, he likes to cook, so thought I would buy him something useful....... he has a thing for Rachel Ray, come on, how can you not, I even have a crush on her, she has a dog rescue and donated a huge amount of money for the animals from that terrible storm Sandy, Yey!!!!...so anywho,  thought I will buy him something from her cooking line,  so off to Wal-Mart we go,  thought it will be a nuthouse but no, walked in,  hey,  this is great,  room to shop, not knocking into anyone,  found what I needed,  two differant size Rachel Ray frypans, woohoo!!!!......  Then it dawned on me,  everyone is shopping at our new Ikea, it just opened up last week, one of the largest Ikea stores here in little ole Winnipeg, said to Cam,  so thats where everyone is......better for me.......So was a happy shopping event..............This afternoon Angel and I are off to my Mom`s to do a lttle Christmas decorating for her..........Wishing you all a happy day, Prim Blessings Francine.

Afternoon Primfolk,    mild out today with rain mixed with ice pellets,  windy and grey,   would like more snow......like the winter wonderland look.........Well, my laptop is better today,  not to sure what happened but glad it`s back to normal.... for now, still learning on my I-Pad to,  so so much to learn, my head spins.........Yesterday decided to dry some orange slices, Michelle from Simple Pleasures posted on how to dry them, so thought I would try it,  love how they look and at the same time I wanted to try the pantry cakes Cathy from Acorn Hollow posted a recipe on them......so thats what I did, they both dry in the oven on low so thought good time to do both...........The house smelled so good with the cinnamon and clove mixture that you dust the cakes with........nice easy recipe, also made hearts and Santas with my molds..........turned out good...........Well,  enjoy the evening.........keep cozy.........Blessings Francine.

Oh Boy!!!!!!

Happy Sunday Primfolk..........hope you are having a good day........I'm not..GRRRRRRR,  my laptop is acting up so I am posting from the I-pad, tried to put the new pictures in but can't...I wanted  to post about our Christmas tree outing yesterday, well I did forget my camera in the excitment of going......found a nice tall tree pine,well, not to tall, Yey!!!! Cam cut her down, loaded it up.......but I did take a picture of the tree at home and wanted to show it....oh well...........was a good day, the roads were great, not icy..... Stopped in to check the trailer out, everything good there.......miss the trailer..........had lunch in town of St. Malo, coffee was so yummy and lunch.................We went in the evening  to visit my Sister and BIL......he is getting stronger slowly, was good to see him, stayed for awhile then back home again.......Enjoy the day, Warm Blessing Francine.    P.S. all I could find is a old picture of the girls......don't just love computers!!!!!!!

MORE CHRISTMAS

Happy Friday Morning,   woke to a snowy wonderland,  snowed through the night,   looks so pretty and when I let Angel out there was a little bunny greeting me by the front door,  I put birdseed out the night before and the rabbit  was eating the birdseed,   but scapered off when Angel appeared.........Well, did the last of my Christmas decorating last night, always tweak it here and there though but thats about it,  will put some things outside next when the temps warm up, tomorrow I think..........my pictures are not great,    put the garland along the railing,  but this time  put the little houses on the lights, like the look.......... Santa in wood bowl my Sister made me years ago, love him, put my old sleigh bells in to thats  on the table...........sweet little stitched pillows in the trencher, Sister made me those to.............the fireplace and mantle still tweaking but so far this is what I did.......not to great but was tired by then..........Planning on getting our tree tomorrow, always have a real one............Hope you all enjoy the weekend, Prim Blessings Francine.
