PICTURES AT CHRISTMAS

Morning Prim Folk, here we are in the middle of Christmas past and up coming of a New Year.  I always feel blue after Christmas for in a blink of an eye it's gone. I wait like an excited child for family to arrive, my mama, middle sis and this year her boyfriend came to stay with us Christmas Eve. It's magical, I love having them stay over. Then we are off to my Brother and Sweet SIL's to have the most fun time on Christmas Eve. Tons of great food she puts out, all their family come and even Santa pays a visit, I love this.  Christmas morning I get to enjoy having coffee with mama and sis, all is good. Open presents, breakfast, then off to our Oldest Sister's for a Christmas supper feast of turkey and all the trimmings, yum!!!! Then before I know it we are back home and it's all a memory, a great memory but leaves me missing all my family. So, New Years will be coming and quiet, no plans, will likely will  be in bed before midnight, yawn.......Warm Blessings Francine.

CHRISTMAS IN THE KITCHEN

Morning Prim Folk,  I've been in the Christmas spirit lately, well, there is only 2 more days till Santa comes. Dean Martin crooning Marshmallow World , Sugar Cookie candle burning, all is Merry and Bright. So away I went to decorating in the kitchen with some Christmas treasures. I love the look of sparkling lights here and there, with the darkness coming so early I enjoy the soft glowing lights here and there more then ever. Plus at Christmastime I have an excuse( giggles ) so I can use as many as I want.  Warm Christmas Blessings Francine.

---CHRISTMAS PAST

Good Morning Prim Folk, wow!!!! the Holidays are sure coming fast, one week away till the big day..                                                                               I love looking at the old pictures of Christmas and family, warms my heart. I came across this gem of my middle sister and myself sitting by the tree with me holding the doll Tressy.   Oh how I loved Christmas as a child and still do, it's all in the magic of Christmas. WEE TREE

Morning Prim Folk, Happy Thursday to you  all!!!!!!!!                                         I decided that this year I'm putting up my wee skinny  prim tree in the porch for Christmas. No real tree for me this year, I will miss the pine smell and everything about a real tree. Not to sure why but  I just decided that I love this wee tree and it will do. Dried orange and apple slices with little  red bells, grungy  pipe cleaner candy canes with the fairy lights is all I need on this tree this  year......Blessings Francine

GOT SNOW?

Morning Prim Folk, hope this Tuesday finds you all well.                                  Last week we really got a great dumping of the white stuff, yes, that four letter word some of us dislike. Me, I love the snow, not so much at once but really find something beautiful in a softly falling  snowfall. Three days it snowed, now this week the cold has settled in, so yes, this will be one heck of a White Christmas.                                                                                Cozy Blessings Francine.

BITS OF CHRISTMAS IN THE PORCH

Morning Prim Folk,  snowy  blowy  and chilly here, our first blizzard like winter weather hitting us in The Peg.  But we are warm and cozy inside the house.   I started decorating for Christmas a week ago, love to pull out the treasures that have been tucked away for the year. So with Christmas tunes playing, yummy smelling candle aglow, I went to decorating. The back porch is where we watch T.V and much of our time relaxing, rather cozy indeed...........          Wishing you a wonderful day, Warm Blessings Francine.

OUTSIDE DECORATING

Morning Prim Folk, hope you are doing well in your neck of the woods.             So glad I decided to decorate the outside of the house while the weather was nice, hard to do when the fingers are freezing in the colder temps.           Hung the garland with little lights around the front window and door, love the look.  Then added the wee tree I found for three bucks at a yard sale, snowman birdhouse and pail with branches and pine cones. Simple but that's o.k. with me....... Warm Blessings Francine.

WELCOME DECEMBER

Morning Prim Folk, well, here we are in this Merry Month of December.     Cannot believe how fast this year flew by, felt like I was flipping that calender page a little to often and fast. .....                                               I do love this month and everything about Christmas. I'm like a kid, so excited about the magic of the Season but to me the best present I can get is to be surrounded by  my family through the Holidays, that's all I need and ask for......
