SISTER GETAWAY

Morning Prim Folk, Happy Tuesday to you...... I'm happy and excited for today us sister's leave on our  annual  Fall gambling trip, woot woot !!!!!!! MONK'S HOOD

Morning Prim Folk, it's a cool, windy and cloudy day here. Kinda day to curl up with a hot cup of coffee, good book and stay in where it's warm and cozy.       I did run out of the house to quickly pick a bouquet of the remaining Monk's Hood to enjoy inside, always nice to have fresh flowers to look at.  I truly love these late Fall bloomer's, the blue is so pretty, I find it difficult to find a true blue flower but these fit the bill nicely. So I will enjoy my enamel pitcher  of Monk's Hood, the last remaining flowers of the garden this year.......Wishing you a wonderful weekend, Autumn Blessings Francine.

SWAP GOODIES

Morning Prim Folk, Happy Thursday to you!!!!                                                Once again I joined in on a fun swap, this one was a Fall themed swap. I received my package yesterday from one of the sweetest blog gals, Donna over at Dirty Martini Queen. Donna is very giving, I was unwrapping such pretty papered goodies like a kid on Christmas morning, what fun!!!! Inside were wonderful gifts, the cutest wee stuffed dog with witches hat, wee pumpkin, prim dolly and stitchery, I think she stitched herself, talented gal, neat cast iron bird spool holder, t-towels with witches hat, pumpkin spice pancake mix which we tried this morning, yummy. Like I said, she is very generous in gift giving, I know this for I've swapped with her a few times before. Thank you Donna for everything, love it all!!!!!! Also a big thank you to sweet Amy for hosting the swap and letting this grateful Canadian girl for joining in on the fun, you are the best!!!!!!!           Wishing you a wonderful day, Fall Blessings Francine.

BITTERSWEET

Morning Prim Folk, Happy Tuesday to you!!!!!                                               The weather here has been so beautiful lately, in the 20's, sunny and warm. So very nice for October, but I know it's not going to last. We were at the lake last week enjoying the nice temps before I went back to work. Did a little fishing on the lake and found some beautiful Bittersweet growing along the banks. Brought the branches home and placed in my yellow ware jug in the blue cupboard, love the berries so. Will be closing up the trailer soon for the season, that is very bittersweet too,sigh  ..................Wishing you a wonderful day, Bittersweet  Blessings Francine
