TURKEY PATROL

Morning Prim Folk,  I cannot believe September is near, Wow!!!! summer flew by.  I can feel Fall creeping in already, the temps are cooler in the mornings, gets dark earlier, yes, Autumn is arriving, but i am o k with it, love pumpkin time.   It is a beautiful morning here, sat sipping my coffee when I spied out the front window  Turkey's marching down the front street , not my usual birds I see in the front yard. By the time I ran for the camera  they were already down the street, but did get to snap a quick  blurry picture, sorry...............We are off to the lake this afternoon for a week,  want to wish you all a Happy Labor  Day weekend, stay and play safe.  Warm Blessings Francine. 

GOOD MORNING

Greetings Prim Folk,  soggy day here so came back from the lake this morning.  Kinda feels good to be home, even though I have loads of laundry to wash, gardens to tend to and I   will  try to catch up with all of you and see what you have been up to.  Had a good week at the lake, the last few days were cloudy but the rain started last night.....On one of my Nature walks with Angel I could not resist picking some wild flowers and berries for the table.  Wild Aster, Golden Rod, Dogwood berries, Chokecherries and more make up a pretty bouquet.  Also came across a Oriole nest that had been blown down from a branch but a little treasure to me, truly works of art.  I had one from a neighbor so the two look sweet hanging from a shrub. Still enjoying watching the birds, had a Rose Breasted Grosbeak family come to the feeder, mom, dad and youngster, only got a picture of the Dad though. So, that's about all I have been up too, going back tomorrow for the week.  Take Care, thanks for your visit, Blessings Francine.

GOOD DAY

Afternoon Prim Folk,  hope you are all enjoying these lazy summer days. I am enjoying spending my holidays living at the lake, getting a mite lazy I would say though. Reading, boat rides, sitting by the camp fire, not doing much of anything but I am liking it.  Really love the morning sitting on the porch, sipping coffee watching the birds, so many wonderful fine feathered friends are coming to the feeders. The other day I counted 9 different  birds at the same time feeding, so exciting to me... We will be heading back out later this afternoon, popped in the house to get the mail, laundry, yadda yadda yadda.  Speaking of mail, I had won one of Brenda's giveaways, lucky me. Here in the mail today is this adorable prim pumpkin head, love it. HELLOOO

Greetings Prim Folk,  hope all is well with you this weekend.  We came in from the lake today to  do a few things around the house, always something to do.  We will leave again Monday to the trailer for the week..... Was a wonderful week at the lake,  My Sis even  came to spend Wednesday night with us, yay!!!! happy happy. We took a pontoon ride, roasted marshmallow's  over a evening fire, went for walks together, so much fun.  Loved waking up knowing we  would enjoy spending coffee together on the porch watching the birds by a campfire. She took many pictures so I am using her's to put on my blog, enjoyed her visit tremendously, making memories.......Wishing you a cozy summer day, thanks for popping in, Blessings Francine.

CAMP VISITORS

Greetings Prim Folk,  Happy Sunday to you all. Came back home from the lake this afternoon to water the plants plus Cam does his bingo thing at the Eagles Club.  Beautiful day here, much cooler then yesterday, found it way to hot for me, don't do good in the heat anymore.   The only way I could put up with such a hot day was my Sister and Mom coming for a visit to our new camp site at the lake Saturday afternoon.   We had such a wonderful time together, had a  BBQ supper  then a nice time relaxing in the evening. Love my family time at home or the lake. Leaving again tomorrow to the trailer for the week, so till next time,  Summer Blessings Francine.

HAPPY FRIDAY

Morning Prim Folk,  the weekend is upon us once again and today  is my last working day, yay!!!!! Holidays here I come, four weeks of doing a whole lot of nothing. Lazy, hazy days of summer, reading, relaxing, hoping to do a little back road traveling too. But will be spending our time mostly at the trailer, in fact heading out there this afternoon once I am done work today.   Will be  back and forth  so hope to keep in touch with you all, need wifi at the camp.  Went into this little shop that opened here close to home last week,  some neat new goodies made to look old. Found this  Bird Seed tin, love it plus it was on sale. Took it to the lake to keep the seed in, love the  pictures  on it........Wishing you all a wonderful weekend, Summer Blessings Francine.

I'M BACK

Greetings Prim Folk,  I am back from the lake and catching up with you all, well, trying.  Laundry is overflowing, flowers need watering but I wanted to say hello, I missed you.   Was a really hot few days at the lake, but I will not complain, or try not to.   The porch is up  and I am a happy camper, YAY!!!! The guys worked really hard getting the porch put together all weekend,  they did get out on the pontoon boat to do a little fishing too, good thing.  I was staining the boards yesterday while Cam was putting the last finishing touches on the side walls, still a couple things to finish up on it but the worst is over.  We are thinking of a tin roof instead of shingles, any hints out there???   I moved a few things around now that the porch is in place, that was fun, always enjoy a decorating challenge..........Wishing you all a wonderful day, thanks for popping in, Summer Blessings Francine.

HELLO AUGUST

Morning Prim Folk,  hope your weekend is going great.  Very warm weather here for the beginning of August, what's that old saying? Dog days of summer, sure have been hot and dry in Winnipeg.  Had a few fast down pours yesterday then the sun would pop out, crazy weather.  August finds the Black Eyed Susan's blooming in the garden, I have a few different colors, love them so. Also the Bee Balm is huge this year, a lily is gigantic too, very pretty.  Then I saw this little baby bunny munching on the Johnny Jump Up's, so cute. I don't mind sharing,  with a face like that I love to see them in the garden. Then there is the Frog Prince I posted about the other day, every morning he is snuggled into the moss in the Fairy Garden, I do believe I have a garden friend......I will be off to the lake after work today, Yipee!!!!!!! .......Wishing you all a beautiful cozy  summer day, Blessings Francine.
