PICTURES AT CHRISTMAS

Morning Prim Folk, here we are in the middle of Christmas past and up coming of a New Year.  I always feel blue after Christmas for in a blink of an eye it's gone. I wait like an excited child for family to arrive, my mama, middle sis and this year her boyfriend came to stay with us Christmas Eve. It's magical, I love having them stay over. Then we are off to my Brother and Sweet SIL's to have the most fun time on Christmas Eve. Tons of great food she puts out, all their family come and even Santa pays a visit, I love this.  Christmas morning I get to enjoy having coffee with mama and sis, all is good. Open presents, breakfast, then off to our Oldest Sister's for a Christmas supper feast of turkey and all the trimmings, yum!!!! Then before I know it we are back home and it's all a memory, a great memory but leaves me missing all my family. So, New Years will be coming and quiet, no plans, will likely will  be in bed before midnight, yawn.......Warm Blessings Francine.

  2. Great pictures!
No party for me on New Year's Eve, either. I prefer to be home, away from the crazies.
    Happy New Year!

  4. Cuties....all of you!! How wonderful that you have such a sweet mom and sweet sisters to share your holidays with!! I love looking at their smiling, happy faces!!

We're just going to have a quiet New Year's Eve too...I'm too old to get out and party like it's 1999 anymore!! Have a good one, Francine!

  5. I'm glad you had a merry Christmas, and I will be enjoying the quiet on New Years myself..we just don't celebrate that holiday...never have really. Now I probably couldn't stay awake long enough to even watch the festivities.

  6. Sounds wonderful Francine. I envy your large loving family and the great memories you create. Sometimes the Christmas celebration is like a wedding. All the preparation and planning and family and joy and BOOM! It's over in a day. Happy new year dear girl.

  8. Love your family photos together!! Indeed they show lots of love and merriment. Francine, I know just how you feel when suddenly Christmas is over. My two girls were home and the weekend was a blur of chatter and togetherness. Suddenly, Monday morning it is all over. This week after Christmas, I have busied myself with cleaning out stuff and making it possible to start the new year with a feeling of lightness and space.

  9. So endearing photos and memories my lil' sweetpea.... How blessed you are to still have your family ties so strong and meaningful... What I would give to wake up on Christmas morning with the ones I love nearby. You have treasures that for many of us are just long-gone memories.... New Year's here will be a quiet one...Never was much for that holiday....but this year will be even quieter than most. Perhaps I will find that long lost needle and thread of mine. Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin

  10. Great family photos Francine! So nice to have the tradition of waking up with your family and still have Santa visit. There is an ole saying that if you stop believing in Santa, you get underwear for Christmas. From your lovely pics, I know your family is not getting underwear. :-) Janice
