IN THE GARDEN

Morning Prim Folk,  rather cool one here but yesterday morning was a real cold morning, there was a frost. I was worried about my perennial's that had started coming up but have to many to cover in the garden's. So that night I went to bed thinking oh those weathermen will be wrong once more, this time they were not wrong. Woke to -4 and frost on the ground, gads!!!!! Even turned the heat on in the house to take the chill off, but by afternoon the plants looked all fine, thankfully no damage. Also happy I didn't end up planting the annuals I had bought the other day when the weather was sunny and warm. So  this week the temps are to be nice with sunshine, I'll be playing in the dirt.......    Wishing you all a wonderful Sunday, Warm Blessings Francine.

  1. Your flowers are so sweet Francine. I so love the color of the forget me nots. It actually snowed here this morning...worried about all of the shrubs and perennials we planted. Janice

  2. I intended to go buy pansies today for my pot on the front step but got distracted. Lol. Maybe tomorrow. I left my new shrubs out all night in their pots but worried about them all night. I think I'll bring them in tonight just to be safe. I hope to get them planted next weekend but I'll watch the weather forecast first

  7. Of course I've planted my flowers but we stayed above freezing just colder than normal. I really love your pansies in the blue graniteware bowl. I may have to steal that idea for my front porch.

  10. Frost predicted for us tonight - Your post a good reminder to go out and grab the few pots of flowers I've bought this year but haven't planted because its been too darn cold. I wonder if the sun and the warm will ever return?

  11. Your flowers look pretty. I love the bowl of pansies. It's been cool here and raining. I finally got all my flowers planted over the weekend. Well, except for some seeds I want to plant in the garden, but the soil is too wet now.
