Found it very entertaining......took a few pictures through the front door,  so not that great but thought I would put them on my blog...........Another rummage sale this evening........shall see what I can find.......Wishing you all a wonderful weekend........Blessings Francine.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING

Good Morning, wishing all my other Canadian blogging friends a wonderful Thanksgiving, hope you enjoy the day with loved ones.       Today is cool and rainy here in Winnipeg but we really need the rain, it has been a heck of a dry summer.         I had my family over for Thanksgiving supper, the traditional  turkey, ham, mashed potatoes,  corn/carrots,  cabbage rolls,  all the good fixins.....ya....I strapped the feedbag on and ate way to much but everything was so tasty.   Then the dessert, pumpkin or apple pie, yum yum,  I`m a apple pie nut, always been my favorite, not to fond of pumpkin, but all my family enjoy a piece of pumpkin pie and whipped cream.   Was a wonderful evening spent with loved ones, telling stories of funny times we have had together, so much to be thankful for, I am blessed.      Wishing you all a great week ahead,  thanks for all your Thanksgiving wishes to me and mine, you are a thoughtful bunch of terrific gals, enjoy your friendships very much........... Warm Blessings Francine.

TALK TURKEY

Good Afternoon,  thought I would take some time out of my busy day cleaning the old homestead up for Thanksgiving  company, oh ya, I need a coffee break right about now and say hello.               Since it`s our Thanksgiving weekend I thought I would  do a little post and show some of my collecting of old turkey items I have.    It all started with one turkey I had seen at a flea market for a buck, liked it, bought it and it`s been going on from then.  Old salt and pepper shakers, planters, candles, plates, whatever I find and like, but slowed down buying now, really don`t see to many old turkey items around here, so will enjoy what I have.   Wishing you all a wonderful weekend, Blessings Francine.......GOBBLE ..GOBBLE.

Happy Friday, Primfolk,  well, a cccccold front came through Winnipeg yesterday and brought a really mad North wind, rain mixed with snow and cold.  Wow!!!!  so happy I did my yard work Wednesday, tucked in my flower beds for the winter and so glad I did, for it came way to soon.    But by Saturday, is supposed to be sunny and warmer temps, hope so, to early to see the white stuff.      Here in Canada this is our Thanksgiving long weekend, yipee!!!!!!   family, food and fun.    We are celebrating on the Sunday instead of the Monday, having family over at our house for supper, will be a good time, can`t wait.      Wishing you all a great weekend, Warm Blessings Francine.

Happy Hump Day,  wishing you all great Wednesday .         Just a short but sweet post to say thanks to all you wonderful blog buddies of mine that left kind comments on my post about my rug hooking.       Your  encouraging words will  keep me  hooking, sometimes I just get so let down about it but I will keep on it.    With Christmas  coming up,   maybe I will try to hook something along the line of winter, there I said the W word,   brrrrrr.                                         I picked this Fall bouquet for you all,  thats all that is blooming in my gardens right now, Autumn Joy,   Monks Hood,   Clara Curtis,( pink mom), Black Eyed Susans and some Mountain Ash berries,   enjoy.  Thank-you again from the bottom of my prim heart, means so much to me,   Hugs Francine.

TO HOOK OR NOT TO HOOK

MY FUNNY PUMPKIN
Happy Monday... wow, October 1st already, can`t believe it, where oh where did September go??????          Well,  I come to the conclusion my hooking sucks.    My wonderful Sis-in-Law taught me the old prim art of rug hooking this Spring,    she bought me the old hook,   started me off with a piece of burlap, wool and told me to draw a picture and away I hooked.    She has made so many great mats, rugs,  love them all.     Took me awhile but I finished my first one,  o.k. all you talented hookers out there, hold back on the laughter.....I`m trying, I`m trying.        Started on another, wanted a little Welcome mat, well, it welcomed it`s way into  the garbage.   Now with Fall here I wanted to try to hook a pumpkin,  well, kinda looks like a pumpkin, Ha!!!!!    So..... not to sure but I guess I should keep trying, maybe will get better with each loop, hope so, do enjoy hooking but.......   Enjoy this first day of October my friends, Warm Blessings Francine.
