FEELING SAD

Morning Prim Folk,  Today would have been my   Dear Father's 90th Birthday,  he passed away 14 years ago. I still miss him so much, think of him everyday. If only I could sit with him once again and listen to his stories about fighting in World War 2,  his love of trains, Locomotives chugging down the tracks he used to watch as a boy.  The great outdoors that he loved so much also, fishing, camping, just being out at the lake respecting nature.  Another love of his was leaving the cold behind here and  Wintering in his beloved Arizona, he adored that Grand Canyon  State so much.  Father  has passed on his love of many things to his children, Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.   We all love the outdoors, many of us go camping and  fishing,  reading, he loved books too, and Great Grandsons Sloan   and  Oscar love trains.  ........
You are always with me Daddy,  I keep you warm and safe tucked away in my heart.  Love Always, Your Baby Girl Francine. XXXX OOOO

  2. Dear Francine, I love the picture of your Dad in his sweater and with his coffee. I am so glad you did this post, as I also lost my dad in Feb. 1970, he was only 58 years old. They are always around in little thoughts that pop up unexpectedly, and some that just stay there all the time. I have lost a lot of family members in Feb. and early March, and it is a sad month for me too. Love, Peggy

  3. Francine,
What a great legacy he left with you and your family. Memories are a great thing but still cannot replace the person.
    Thanks for sharing,

  14. A beautiful post Francine and well timed as I remember both my parents and mourn the loss of my brother almost two weeks ago. We never get over missing them, do we?

Take care, and know I'm sending some extra "comforting hugs" in your direction.

  17. He's with you everyday Francine. Doesn't matter how old we are when we loose them, still miss them like we were little. My mom has been gone almost 11 years. I wish she was here to talk to face to face at some point during everyday. I still talk to her and if I am paying attention I can here her answer me :)
