BLOOMING CHRISTMAS

Good Morning Prim Folk,  Happy Saturday to all of you sweet blogging friends...... I am off to work but wanted to show you how pretty my Christmas cactus is when in bloom.  I know, I think a little early  too but so beautiful.  It was given to me by my Sister's boyfriend who didn't want it anymore for it never bloomed for him. I said I will take it, give the plant a good home and hopefully will get the cactus to bloom. Well, looks like I did good, but the secret I believe is the old Yellow Ware bowl I planted it in. He gave it to me in a plastic plant pot, yuk, I don't do plastic.  I  had this  nice cracked  old bowl I have been hanging on too, love Yellow Ware, I   thought it would make  a good plant pot someday and will  go great with  my decor.  So my friends, that's why it is blooming today, old,  worn and loved is good, wink wink....Warm Blessings Francine.

  5. I was at Aunties this morning and her Christmas cactus was all in bloom too. Makes me realize I need to get some plants for my house. But I'm not a green thumb so I'm afraid I'll kill them ;)
