GOATS BEARD

Greetings Prim Folk,  Happy Monday to you all....  What a wet weekend it was here, oh my did it rain buckets and buckets. Also such strong winds were blowing, tree limbs were littered everywhere. Crazy weather we have been having lately, would like to know where summer is.  The sun did peek out yesterday morning for all of about an hour,  but let me tell you is was so nice to see even though it was short lived.  I did get out and putter in the gardens for a while,  flowers seem ok,  some knocked a kilter from the wind.   My Goats Beard is huge this year, beautiful fluffy white tufts. The past two years it was small and scrawny but this year it's back to all it's glory, I am so happy about that........
..........Wishing you all a wonderful day, Summer Blessings Francine.

  1. Nice! I've never heard it called goats beard. Is it the same plant as astilbe? If so, I have four of them, two white and two red. They're just about to bloom. I think my garden is a little to shaded now, even for shade plants! Have a happy day.

  2. Last week it was so cool we had the furnace running every day and this week it's hotter than "you know what". Crazy weather is right. Love that plant. I've never heard of it before but I'm not a gardener.
