HAPPY WEDNESDAY

good ole Country Living magazine
Good Morning Prim Folk,  hope all is well in your neck of the woods.........Yesterday enjoyed a cloudy cool day, was so nice after baking in the heat for days, didn`t have to water the flowers either for it rained as well, now today, back to the heat and humidity............I am going to go sit outside on the swing this morn while it is still cool out with a coffee and read,  I dug out some of my older issues of Country Living magazine,  used to really enjoy this magazine, when it first came out it  was such a great  Country magazine, not so much now,  so I  take out the old issues and enjoy looking through them once again....................This afternoon I am going to my Mom`s, she has a Doctor`s appointment, so my Sis is driving her and I will tag along  with them, always enjoy my family time..................Then there were these Turkey`s  wondering around this morning,  Cam ran and grabbed the camera but they wanted nothing to do with him, turned their back on him and kept going, GOBBLE, GOBBLE, in other words, get lost!!!............
....Wishing you a wonderful day, Summer Blessings Francine.

  1. My sister was just telling me how every once in a while, she has to pull out her old issues of Country Living magazine and go through them! Her whole house is decorated in the prim style, and she really misses the way CL mag used to be. Hard to find prim decor around here too.
Love the shot of those wild turkeys!
    Have a great week!

  5. Have a great day, I am so glad you said that about Country Living, I used to love to spend time reading them and now I don't bother. They aren't country living anymore.
I have some of the old books that they used to put out and they are filled with such great things. I am always so disappointed now. I am glad it was cooler for you. We might have a break in the hear for a couple of days too.

  6. Have a wonderful day! It's beautiful here this morning, so I sent my husband flying! These calm, windless, nice days don't come along very often.

  7. Wow, do you think it would do any good if we all got together and wrote to Country Living. I too do not like their changes and have years and years of the old ones, never threw any away. Not only do I not like the new direction they have gone, I do not like the new size, who voted on that idea. But every time I go to cancel my subscription I'll end up buying it in the store, much better to subscribe than pay full price. Really like the old magazine and format much better.

  8. Ditto about Country Living I think it is pitifull . Count the advertisement pages they out number the actual content pages. I do not know if it is the editor or publishers but I wish they would return to their roots. Have fun with your family !

  9. Love the photo of the Turkeys ! I used to get that magazine to but now there are more adds in it then anything else ! I am typing this from my back patio porch on my lap top as the birds chirp and sing and get blown around in thew trees as the winds blow cool and the humidity continues. Storms on watch for us for this afternoon into the eve then a cool down for us thank goodness ! Thanks for sharing , have a good day !
