MORE PLANTING

old tool carrier
Greetings Prim Folk, hope the weekend is going well for you all, enjoying the great outdoors,  cool and cloudy here this morning but the sun is supposed to pop out this afternoon...........Quiet weekend for me, spent time outdoors yesterday planting up some containers with flowers I had bought last week..............Last year I planted in my old tool carrier Succulents but this time I planted Trailing Verbena and Wave Petunia`s, hope they will grow ok in there and trail down................also planted flowers in a old strainer and  a white  enamel bowl, turned them both into hanging planters, love using old enamel like that...................We also put the fish back into the pond, they seem very happy to be back in there, more room to swim around in, just hope the Raccoons don`t pay a visit and enjoy a free meal.................Wishing you all a great day,  Blessings Francine.

  1. Good Morning! Oh, I love your flowers. My grandma had an enamel bowl just like this one. Have a relaxing day.

  3. Looks great! I love using old items for containers. Put some Vicks Vaporub in little containers around the pond to keep the coons away. I keep them 3'-5' away from baby rabbit nests and it works.

  4. Good morning, Francine,
Your flowers are lovely and their "pots" are great! I especially love the colander, great idea.
Our Memorial weekend is gorgeous, bright blue skies & temps in the 70's, a truly beautiful time of year here in VA.

Thanks for visiting me, I enjoyed my visit here.

  5. Morning Francine, LOVE seeing how you pot your flowers! My favorite so far is the enamel strainer. Those flowers will be more beautiful when they start trailing over the sides! Thank you for your sweet comments as always....the lovebirds comment made me smile!! At least, I can visit my friends for a while! I've never had computer issues this long before..ugh! Blessings to you~~~Roxie

  9. Hi, Francine,
I love how you have planted in the old enamel ware. The tool box display with the watering cans underneath is just perfect! I hope your fishies are safe, if I had them here I am sure the raccoons would get them, they come around every night. This has been a cool weekend (temp. wise) and I have been enjoying working outside. I hate the heat, it really does me in. Hope you are having a nice weekend!
    Hugs,
    Melinda
