MY POCKET HEART

Greetings From The Frozen North, been so so cold here lately, but the temp did rise up a little over night and woke to a layer of snow on the ground........thats the way it goes, fridged cold then warms up a bit and get snow............Happy Friday, any big plans for the weekend????....Me, not  so much, tomorrow evening we did buy tickets to a fish fry supper at the Eagles club, yum yum,  my Mom, Sister and her boyfriend are coming with us,  then will come back to our house and play a dice game, yey!!!!.....Thanks for all the concern about my Momma falling, she is doing well, you are all so caring.................Made myself a little prim blue quilted heart with a wee pocket, tucked in a flicker light, hung it on my cupboard in the kitchen, kinda looks cute.........I had seen a heart with a pocket on Pinterest, oh that Pinterest,  I spend hours looking at all the wonderful prim boards, my my, some great idea`s,  so that is my version of the pocket heart.............Wishing you all a warm, wonderful weekend, Prim Blessings Francine.

  5. Pinterest is great for that. It's where I get most of my ideas too. The pocket is cute. I love it when I hear other bloggers making stuff for themselves and not just to sell. Wishing you a yummy fish fry. We love fish at our house. -Steph-

  6. Francine
Your heart turned out so cute. I bet it's especially nice at night when you see the light!
I'm glad your Mom's doing better. Falls are scary at that age.
I love fish fries. My Dad was a commercial fisherman on the mighty Mississippi River, so I've been to many as a child.
Now that I live in Canada-not so much. In fact, not ever!
    You made me miss it.
    Hope you all have fun-Kimberly

  12. Hi Francine! I have missed your blog this week, but thought of you a several times when I caught several episodes of a show about a house being restored and decorated in primitive style. I really enjoyed the show! The way it was decorated brought so much warmth and charm to the home and reminded me so much of a simpler time when every thing seemed less complicated--I imagine your house with that same kind of warmth that I love this time of year!! I hope it warms up for you, and you're enjoying your weekend!! :-)
